On Earth, Celina, Sora, and Moon Shadow were walking through the city, with Sora finishing a call on his Duel Disk, before turning to the others and saying, "We've got trouble. The Hundred Arch Woods is under attack, our team needs us asap."

The group began to move when suddenly a massive Duel Runner pulled up to them to cut them off. They readied their Duel Disks as three people disembarked from the Runner, the driver a cowboy dress man, an elderly man in a traditional green robe, and the last was a man in a purple business suit. The cowboy man stated, "I'm afraid you'll be going nowhere. Allow me to introduce ourselves. We are Duelists hired by the Separatists to put an end to you all. I'm Lawton." He pointed to the man in the robe, "That's Chojiro." Then he pointed to the other man, "And that's Zigfried." The trio readied their own Duel Disks.

Celina smirked, "I guess there's only one way past them." She nodded to the others, who nodded back and the three ran in separate directions, but only got a few feet before one of the enemy Duelists stood before them; Chojiro for Celina, Lawton for Moon Shadow, and Zigfried for Sora. All six activated their Duel Disks and shouted, "DUEL!" Celina and Moon Shadow's Duel Disks even dispersed Action Cards.

Celina vs Chojiro:

At the start of the Duel, the Field Spell Card Crossover is activated, as per the rules of an Action Duel. It will allow the players to use Action Cards, but they may only have one in their hand at a time.

Chojiro Turn 1: Chojiro Normal Summons Flower Cardian Pine (100/100) in Attack mode. He Tributes Pine to Special Summon Flower Cardian Pine with Crane (2000/2000) from his hand in Attack mode via its own effect, as Pine was a LV 1 Flower Cardian monster that was not Special Summoned via the effect of another Flower Cardian monster. The effect of Pine with Crane activates, letting Chojiro draw a card. If the drawn card is not a Flower Cardian monster that can be Special Summoned, it is sent to the GY He draws Diceversity, so it is sent to the GY.

Celina Turn 2: Celina Normal Summons Lunalight Tiger (1200/800) in Attack mode. She then activates Polymerization, fusing Lunalight Blue Cat and Lunalight Purple Butterfly from her hand to Fusion Summon Lunalight Cat Dancer (2400/2000) in Attack mode. Celina activates the effect of Cat Dancer, letting her Tribute a Lunalight monster to allow it to attack each monster her opponent controls twice each this turn, but the attacked monsters cannot be destroyed by battle during the first attack on each of them. She Tributes Tiger. Cat Dancer attacks Pine with Crane (Chojiro LP: 4000 -> 3600). Cat Dancer attacks and destroys Pine with Crane, with Chojiro finding and activating the Action Card, Damage Banish, reducing the battle damage that he would have taken to 0.

Celina grunted as she finished her turn, "Dang it. I really wanted to do more damage this turn."

Chojiro complimented, "It was still an excellent start to this honorable battle."

Celina raised an eyebrow, "Honorable?"

He nodded, "Yes. It is truly sad that we must meet each other on this field of battle. I assure you while I will enjoy this Duel I take no satisfaction in what I must do to you in it."

"A Separatist with a sense of honor? Now I've seen everything."

"Is it really so surprising? You think we're all the bad guys?"

She shook her head, "After seeing some of the things you Seps have done to me and my friends, yeah. Especially worlds you've conquered like Equestria."

"Your sides not exactly guilt-free."

"What are you talking about?"

"Just like you haven't seen our noble side, you also haven't seen the darkest side of your precious Republic. Did you know that on planet Atraken your Republic forces were so desperate to win the battle and acquire the planet's Dunium to build warships that they pretty much bombed the entire planet including civilians!" Celina's eyes widened in shock, "I can see not. Every organization has a dark side, both of ours do. We did some bad things during Atraken itself. Regardless, I believe all this conflict is unfortunately necessary to tear down the old broken Republic and build something new and better in its place."
