Captain x Player--Jealous

Hey everyone! So this is a yandere (Captain) oneshot (let me know what you think; cuz this is my first yandere oneshot, and it was requested by @XxB-senpaixX! Enjoy!

Yandere Captain's POV

"Captain! Are you even paying attention?!"

"Yup..." I answered dazedly, still too busy staring at cute, oblivious Player to properly focus on the meeting before me. It wasn't until Mr. Cheese slapped me hard on the back and yelled, "Captain! Make your freaking vote already!" that I finally blinked and my eyes settled on the meeting table instead.

"Um...who's everyone voting for?" I asked sheepishly. There was a collective groan from everyone in the room, and The Gentleman hastily explained, "We're all voting to skip. No one has any information on the murder of Rose, so we figured it was best to save as many crewmates' lives as possible." "Good plan!" I affirmed. "I'll skip too!" I quickly made my vote, and the meeting ended with no one getting ejected.

"Everyone scatter!" I called, but everyone was already moving from the cafeteria of Mira HQ up to the hallway. Well, everyone but Player. "You all right, Captain?" He asked, his face full of worry. "You've been a little off today." "I know," I answered, noticing suddenly that whenever Player was worried about something, his face scrunched up cutely. "I'm fine, though! Just a little...preoccupied."

"Preoccupied trying to figure out how to tell you I love you." I thought secretly. No one—at least I was pretty sure—knew that I was desperately in love with Player. It was a matter of just telling him all that that made me nervous, though.

I looked up at Player, who, if possible, looked more worried. "Well...you can always talk to me if...you know...something is wrong." He said uneasily. I replied, smiling, "Thanks, Player. You're so nice."

Player flushed. "Thanks, Captain. I'd better get going though. Got all my tasks to do." "Right. Me too." I lied, nodding. Truth was, I was an impostor, and technically I could kill Player right now since my kill cooldown had just ended, but I didn't. Instead, the gun and knife were still hidden in my pockets, safe from any intruding crewmates.

"Alright, bye, then!" Player said lightly, flashing me a quick smile that made me practically melt before skipping off down the hallway.

Right. Guess I'd better get to killing crewmates, then. Well, killing everyone but Player, that is. I made my way down the hallway towards the Office, wondering whether to sabotage or kill someone first. I was about to dart into the Office to plan out my strategy when I heard familiar laughter coming from the Greenhouse.

Huh...isn't that Player's laugh?

I crept out the door and peered carefully around the corner into the Greenhouse. To my surprise, Player and Mr. Egg were standing in the middle of the room, giggling hysterically! "Oh my god," Mr. Egg wheezed. "Player, what did you do?!" "I don't know!" Player chuckled. "I was just trying to accept the diverted power when—" He motioned something blowing up, which made Mr. Egg laugh even harder.

A wave of jealousy suddenly overcame me. That should've been Player and me laughing. Not Mr. Egg. The thought immediately made me feel a little guilty, but I glared at Mr. Egg anyway. Player is mine, eggy boy. Stay away.

Player eventually wiped away tears of laughter and said, smiling at Mr. Egg, "I've got to go. Got more tasks to do, not to mention I should probably tell someone that I sort of broke a task."
