Today is a very important day. It's my best friends 21st birthday

I'm throwing her a surprise party at her favorite club and everyone is going to be there

I was making a list of the things I needed to get done before the party when my brother called me

(The italics are them on the phone)
Y- you
A- Ashton

Y- hey Ash what's up

A- hey I'm just making sure the party is still on tonight

Y- yeah I just have a few more things to do then it'll be ready. Have you told your friends?

A- yeah they are all coming but Luke is still tbd

Y- is everything okay with him?

A- yeah he's just going through it right now because of Sierra leaving him

Y- that sucks they were so cute

A- yeah I think he just needs to let loose and have a good time. Can I count on you to make that happen?

Y- for sure Ash tonight is gonna be wild

A- okay well I think you should call him and tell him. He listens to you.

Y- okay I will. Love you

A- love you too sis

*end phone call*

I start to dial Luke's number but I stop

"You better come tonight asshole" I say quietly to myself and press call

L- Luke
Y- you

L- hey y/n

Y- hey Luke what's up

L- nothing much just scrolling through Instagram. Why'd you call?

Y- well I was just making sure you're coming tonight. It's gonna be so much fun I have some party favors that will really get things started

L- it sounds fun. I might not be able to make it though

Y- and why not?

L- I'm not really in the party mood y/n

Y- Luke it's been 3 weeks. You've had your time to mope around. You need to have fun and start living your live again

L- how am I supposed to do that when the love of my life left me

That broke my heart.

Y- Luke I know it hurts but as soon as you get back out there you'll find a girl that will make you forget about her. And guess what it'll feel just as amazing and magical as she did or just as painful. But you can't let one girl keep you from living your life. There's plenty of fish in the sea Luke.

L- she was my soulmate y/n it's not that easy

Y- Luke if she was your soulmate she wouldn't have left you. You are gonna find the one and when you do she wont leave you. You're an amazing guy and anyone who doesn't see that doesn't deserve you

L- thanks y/n. I'll try to be there. You do have a way with words you know that?

Y- it's a gift. I'll see you tonight.
