Jun-seo POV.
Today my girlfriend was going to meet my parents. She was very nervous so to help her we invited her friend along. Areum was the one that introduced us to each other anyways so I had no problem.
I'm really glad she did because I think of Brianna as someone I could spend the rest of my life with. She's kind, selfless, hardworking, and not to mention she is absolutely beautiful. I couldn't ask for anyone better.
I pulled up to my parents apartment complex and parked in the parking garage.
"Are you excited now that we're here?" I ask Brianna who is sitting next to me in the passenger seat.
"My nerves are through the roof right now. What if they don't like me?" she asks.
I softly hold her hand and kiss her cheek. "Well they're going to have to because I am in love with you."
"I love you too." she says.
"I can't believe I ended up third wheeling." Areum says while huffing and puffing in the backseat. "I better be maid of honor at your wedding and a god mother." she adds while getting out of the car.
"We're not getting married yet and I am not pregnant, Areum-ah!" Brianna replies.
"Not yet, but...soon and I wouldn't mind mini Brianna's running around." I say and get out of the car before she could say anything.
The shock on her face made me chuckle as she scrambled out of the car. She smoothed down her dress and sighed.
"Let's do this." she says and walks off in a random direction.
"You lead." she says as she walks back to me.
I laugh and throw my arm over her shoulder. We take the elevator up to their apartment and we are walking down the hall and I ring the doorbell.
"Hey Areum, can you hold this while I fix my shoe?"
"Sure," Areum says while talking the container that the cake she made was in.
She bent down to fix her shoe and then my mom opened the door.
"Jun-seo, you're finally here." my mom exclaimed. She took one look at Areum and smiled showing her dimples. "She's so beautiful." She drags Areum to her and engulfs her in a hug.
SHIT!
Brianna slowly stood up and looked up at me with sad eyes.
"Eoma...that's not her." I grab a hold of Brianna's hand and brought her into my mother's view. "This is Brianna."
My mother let go of Areum and looked at our holding hands. She looked in between the two of them before she dragged Brianna into a hug. "Sorry, I'm a hugger. I'm just so excited. He's never brought anyone home before."
"It's nice to meet you Mrs. Kim." Brianna says with a bright smile.
"You too and call me emoni. Come on in. I don't want the food to get cold." my mom says and leads us into the house. We take off our shoes and I place the fluffy pink slippers I had gotten for Brianna a week ago for her visit in front of her.
She smiled at them thanked me. "They're so soft."
My dad comes out of the living room and greet us. "Jun-seo, you've made it."
We greet him back and he stops in front of Brianna. "It's nice to meet you."
"Honey, how did you know it was her?" my mom asks while placing utensils on the table.
"If you wanted to keep her identity a secret, you should probably change your screensaver." my dad says and goes to the kitchen to help my mom.
"Well, it seem like you've got this in the bag?" Areum tells Brianna.
"I told you they would like you." I told her.
"I know. They're really nice." she says.
I lean in to kiss her cheek, but she backs away from me. "Stop! We're at your parents house." she says while giggling.
"Let's eat."
TIME SKIP
After dinner we were all eating the cake that Brianna made. We were all getting along and my parents were showing her embarrassing baby pictures of me.
"What was it with you and not wearing clothes?" Brianna said while ruffling my hair.
In a quick moment a flash had went off and we looked at my Mom. She had our camera out and was pointing it at us.
"How did you get that out so fast?" my dad asked.
"I keep one by the sofa for moments like these. They're so cute together." she gushes.
Brianna took her hand away, but I held onto it and smiled happily. It's just so great that my parents really like her.
