Year 2006
Today is the day. Dahyun's birthday.
The birthday girl woke up wearing a wide in her face. She's excited on what's about to happen in her day.
"Happy birthday, Dubs!" Her mom & dad greeted her and kissed her cheeks as they saw the kid entered the kitchen.
"Thank you!" Dahyun replied and gave her parents a kiss too.
"What do you want today?" Her dad asked.
"Anything! I don't mind what's the food or gift, I'm happy that I have a family and friends to celebrate with me already" the kid replied to her mother, still wearing her smile.
Her mother's heart melted, Dahyun is truly a precious kid.
"Okay okay! Here eat you brrakfast first and you can do anything you want today."
And she ate her breakfast.
Dahyun is now watching some cartoons in their living room when someone knocked on their door.
"Kim Dahyun! BROO!"
as soon a she heard the word 'bro', she immediately dashed out of the living room and opened the door.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRO!" The other kid greeted. Dahyun jumped towards the other kid and hug her.
"Thank you, bro!" Dahyun pulled from their hug and they made their hand shake.
But when Dahyun look behind Chae, she noticed that there is another kid standing there, looking down at her feet.
"Mina unnie?"
The girl looked up and greeted Dahyun with a smile.
"H-Happy Birthday, Dahyun-ah" she stepped forward and gave Dahyun a kiss on her cheek.
Little Dahyun just stood there frozen.
While Mina is now embarrassed on what she did.
"Why are you two getting shy now? You're married, kissing is normal?" Chaeyoung teased & wrapped her arms on the shoulders of the two, making her in between the two shy kids.
"Oh, Chae and...is this Mina? The Girl you're always talking about?" Dahyun's mother walked to them. Dahyun only nodded.
Mrs. Kim doesn't really know what Mina looks like since she haven't met her before. But she knew that she is her daughters friend from the cliff.
"Hi Mrs. Kim I'm Myoui Mina." The kid bowed and introduced herself.
Mrs. Kim smiled at her and she introduced herself as Dahyun's mother.
"Call me Mom, like what chae is calling me."
She invited the two to enter their house and Dahyun brought them to her room.
"Bro bro! Look I got you a gift!" Chaeyoung gave Dahyun a box, inside there is a white shirt with drawing in it. "I made that! I drew you!" The kid boasted.
Mina took a glance at the shirt and noticed that there is no face, but only a tofu drawing.
"I don't see a person here?" Mina frowned at them.
"Unnie, that's a tofu right there. I am Dubu. The drawing is a Dubu!" The birthday girl explained.
"Okay, I get it. But Dahyunie, I don't have any gifts for you." Mina pouted feeling sorry for not giving her a gift.
"Wifeu. You already gave me one, you kissed me earlier. That's a gift." The kid smiled.
"Yah bro, You're scary! Earlier you are shy, now you are- I don't know anymore." Chae looked at Dahyun with amused look.
Dahyun just rolled her eyes at her bro and then she remembered something.
"Ah. I remembered, I wanted to ask how did you know where my house is?" Dahyun asked Mina.
"I didn't know. Chaeyoung just came to my house and started shouting for my name. She talked to my parents that we will go here. She's the one who brought me here." Mina said.
Dahyun only nodded and thanked her bro.
They started playing after that.
"Kids! The food is ready!" Mrs. Kim shouted from the kitchen.
The kids immediately got off from the bed and Dahyun spoke.
"The last one who gets to the table will have my cake's cream wiped on her face." She challenged them.
"1..."
"2..."
"3..."
"Go!"
Chaeyoung is the one who opened the door and they all ran towards the dining room.
They are already near, with Dahyun on the lead, but she noticed that Mina was left behind. She stopped from running then she let Chaeyoung get pass her.
Mina frowned at her.
"Yah! Don't look at me like that and just go!" Dahyun said at her unnie.
When the two of them reached the table where the food is placed Dahyun proceeded to go there.
"Bro, you lose!" Chae laughed at her and sitted at the chair.
"Yeah I did because I stopped from running." Dahyun cooly said.
"Why did you let me go here first? Do you want to be wiped with cake on your face?" The oldest kid exclaimed.
"I don't want to be wiped. But, I don't want my wife to be wiped with it too." Dahyun pouted.
Mina got her eyes wide open, Mr. & Mrs. Kim is actually in there watching them, and Dahyun just said that.
"Yah bro! You're embarrassing you're wife in front of Mom & Dad!" The little cub laughed at her bro.
"What? I'm just saying truths here." Dahyun pouted.
Mr. Kim laughed at her kid, she surely got that attitude of blurting things out, from him.
"Don't worry Mina, don't be shy. My daughter here and Chae always talks about you so I know that." Mrs. Kim giggled at the kids.
"I'm hungry! Let's start singing for my bro now!" Chae whined.
They sang the happy birthday song and proceeded to eat.
The they wento on with them playing and teasing each other, with mr. & mrs. Kim joining them.
Dahyun's day ended and she's happy with it already.
Dahyun slumped down at her bed looked at the newly framed picture beside her.
It's a picture of the three of them, Mina, Chaeyoung and her.
She smiled.
"Happy Birthday to me!"
And her day ended happily.

Forgive me. I'm starting to forget the plot of this story so I am having a hard time on writing chapters. Sorry if there are typos, I haven't eat my bfast yet. I just woke up and started to write random things that comes to my mind. Thank you for reading. Bye!
