Year 2006
Two girls were sitting at the grass, they're at a cliff just watching the view of the city. This place has been their secret place, this is where they first met and this is where they will separate too.
"Unnie, i will miss you." the younger kid whispered.
"Me too, Dahyunie..." The older one said, almost unaudible for little dahyun to hear.
It's just quiet no one dares to talk, they sure are going to miss each other. They are still afraid to say their goodbyes.
"Unnie, someday we will meet again. promise me that you'll remember me" 9 years old Dahyun said while looking at the girl beside her, who still have her gaze at the city in front of them.
"mhmm, i'll promise that. Promise me that you'll remember me too." The 10 years old girl responded, slowly shifting her gaze at the younger.
They stayed like that, looking at each others teary eyes.
Minutes later two cars arrived, they knew that it's the time.
"Dahyun, let's go. Say your goodbyes to your Mina unnie." Dahyun's mother said while walking towards her daughter.
"Mina unnie, remember our promise okay?" Little dahyun said, grabbing something inside her pocket.
It's a necklace.
"This is just in case you forget me, if you see this in the future you will remember me immediately. Look it says D♥️M. You know what that means right? If you see that, you'll remember Dahyunie loves Mina unnie." Dahyun said, smiling widely at her unnie.
Mina doesn't know what to feel, she's happy and sad at same time. It is making her cry. She is more flattered when the younger help her wear it.
"Why are you so cute Dahyunie? I will not forget you Dubu. Mina unnie loves you too. We will meet again soon, be a good girl okay? I will miss you."
And there, they hugged each other.
Their parents are just watching their kids. They are sad too, but it is really needed. For their future...
"Okay girls, we need to go now. We are already running late for our flight now. " It is mina's mother who spoke this time.
They did let go of each other but tears are visible at their eyes this time.
They are inside their cars now. They waved at each other before the cars started to drive separately heading to the airport.
"Once we meet again, I will promise to be with you forever and never let us be separated again."-d

They thought at the same time.
