kalpana ran eagarly  to  her  parents  that  she  was  being  called  to  attend  a  job  interview...
'' Eat  well  and  go'' my  child  '  Mohan  shetty  was  happy  for  his   daughter
Shalini  give  her  something  sweet  ''  he called  his  wife  .who  walked  up  to  kalpana  with  home  made  halwa
kalpan dressed  in  her  best  set out  to  the  interview  venue  . when  she  reached  there   ,,there  were  many  people  at  the  Raintree  Hotel  lobby
kalpana  searched  around  and  saw  direction  for  interview    ,,at  conferece  room    upon reaching  there  she  became  a little  apprehensive.......there  were  many  candidates   looking  nervous  just  as  she  was   .
minutes  later   a  group  of  men ,and a woman  in  business  suits  walked  in   ...''the  lady  in  the  grey  suit  turned around
'' interview  in  10  minutes.........she  announced..and  added  ;;  relax   and  don;t  be  nervous
kalpana  idly  watched  as  one  after  another  candidates walked in  to  the  interview...
A tall  .well built   figure  walking  toward  the   conference    caught  her  eye
his  magnifecent  suit    made  kalpna  swallow   so  hard,,''  Raghav   Malhotra  was  so  good  looking...she  recognised  him  as  her  saviour  while  in  Malaysia...she  just  stared  at  him  unashamedly.......gawkily   to  be  precise ;;in  the  process  dropped  her  bag  with  her  flask  in  it....it  crashed  to  the  floor....and  caused  heads to  turn  toward  her.........kalpna  was  tickled  with  embaressment    and  to  make  it  worse  she  saw  The  Mighty  Raghav  Malhotra  looking  at  her  with  amusement  .then  he  dissappered  into  the  conference room...........kalpana  bit  her  nail   ,,,her aprehension  growing  by  the  ticking  of  the  clock...
'' Kalpana  Shetty''  kalpana  nearly  jumped off her  seat  as  her  name was  called  out.....she  got  up  swiftly .and  walked  in  for  her interview....she  greeted  the  two  men  and  one  woman  team....in  front  of  her  and  sat  down  after  she  was  gestured  to  do  so....''  Have  you  eaten;; Miss  Shetty''     the  man  right  opposite  her  asked''
'' Err..''   yes 
kalpana  stammered  at  that  what seemed  like  a silly  question.......
while  one  them  was  going  through  her  profile''  a  waiter  suddenly  appeared  with  a  sandwich  and  a  glass  of  orange juice 
''Please  Miss  Shetty  ...have  this  light  sandwich  and    juice;;
'' i have  already  taken  my  food  ...'' Kalpana declined   feeling   humiliated.......'' how  dare  they  treat  her  like  this'  she  began  to  fume
'' it  is   the  boss'ss  order  miss  please    go  to  the  sofa  and  eat  your  sandwich       Miss......and  if  you  refuse to  eat  , your  interview  would  be  cancelled...''  further  shocking  words  came  from  the  woman  in  the  team
''kalpana  needed  the  job  badly  ..she  walked  to  the  sofa.......camoflouged   nicely  by  a  plant
she  sat  down  quietly  and  looked  at  the  plate  of  sandwich  like  a fool
''  look  here miss''.....but  Mr  Malhotra   seemed  to  think  you  were  about  to  faint   earlier  before  you  were called  in''please eat  then...  come  back  to  us  for  your  interview......your  resume  is  satisfying.....we  like  your  skills'' The
woman   said  and  walked  away
kalpana  could  not  fathom  what was happening  ...'.Mr  Malhotra   here   in  India...she   last  saw  him  in  Malaysia   while  running  away from  Sanjay.....
'' Don't  be  stupid  Kalpana   ..she  scolded  herself.. ;he  is  a business  man  //high  class  and  successful.   he  can  be  in  any  part  of the  world his business  takes  him  to
part  of  her  seemed  happy..he  was  a  concerned  character   though  he looked  tough.....kalpana amused  herself  with  these  thoughts  and  got  on  with  her  interview..........
ther  candidates  were  requested  to  wait  ,,,,for  the  result  of  their  interview
'' kalpana  was  chanting  to  Matharani  under  her breath.....
14  candidates   were  called  back  in  to  the  conference  room...all came  out  holding  appointment  letters...Kalpana;s  heart  sank.....she  picked  her  bag  and  turned  to  leave,,'  liar  ..she  cursed  the  woman  who  had  said  they  were  happy   with  her  resume
'' Miss  Shetty......the Boss  himself  wants  to  conduct  the  second  interview''   please  follow  me..'
the  guy  who  had  interviewed  her  earlier  ushered  her  into  a  smaller   room  inside  the  conference  room
seated  behind  a  mahogany  table   ..Raghav  Malhotra  looked  up'
take  your  seat   Miss Shetty.....he  said''' His  voice  sounded  harsh.....those  eyes  were taking  every  detail of  kalpana
''i  believe  you  have  settled  all  your  problems...
kalpana   knew  at  once he   remenbered   and  acknowleged  what  he  was talking  about...he  had  rescued  her  from  that  beast  sanjay one  year  ago
yes''  sir..'' kalpana  lied...she   needed  the  job  to  pay  grandfather  Krishna
'' very  well  then  ,,can  you  start  tomorrow.?.he  asked   going   through her   resume......
'' yes  sir''  kalpana  replied  enthusiastically''' ... and  before  she  could  reply  any  further  Raghav  Malhotra  put  on  his  sun  glassess  and   quickly  let  the  office,
the  woman  who  had  introduced  her  earlier''introduced  herself  as  Rima  Arvind
''you  are  our  best  candidate.......;; you  are  appointed  as   chief  operations  manager   for   Malhotra   group  of  companies and  you  will be  stationed   in    Bangalore,,,you  will  have  your  own   apartment  and  you   have  30  staff   to  monitor.......It   is  an  industrial   estate......you  will  be  in  charge  of  this  factory.......our  junior   auditor   Neelam  and   kumar  will assist  you......get  your   things  ready,,,we  will  leave  tomorrow  morning..Rima Arvind  further  added
the  factory  car  will  be  here   8am sharp.....
'Yes  maam.''.replied  kalpana.....her  eyes  suddenly  searching  for  Raghav Malhotra... she   forgot  to  thank  him  and  he  was  out  like  a  bullet.....perhaps  next  time   ..she  will have  the  opportunity   to  thank  him....
kalpana  was  on  cloud  nine   she  had  secured  a  job......she  thanked  her  grandfather     in  her  heart......she  will  call  him
as  soon   as  she  got  home...........unaware    that  she  was  being  watched   .....and  was  being  followed  ......
kalpana   reached  home  so  happy...caught  hold  of  her mother;s  hands  and  twirled  her  around,
''  ma  i  have  to  be  ready  and the  company  car   will  be  here  at  sharp  eight...am...'' explained  Kalpana  sipping  her  mother's  hot  sweet  tea.........
back  in  her  room..she  was  packing  her  bags..Deepak walked  in  and  huggged  his  sister..'' i am  so  happy  for  you  didi.  best  of  luck,,,,,,,,wow'',,he  said  in  awe     you  will be  working  for  Raghav Malhotra...thanks  to   Mahesa  Bahadur..he  sure  does  have   excellent  contacts...Deepak  beamed  with  pride..
don't   give  a damn  about  Sanjay  didi...........he  would  have  learned  his  lesson not  to mess  with  my sister''.Deepak  advised..he  had  alerted  his  very  close  friends  to  follow  closely  the  car  Kalpana  would  be  travelling  in  in  the  morning
until  she  reached  her  destination  safely...
Kalpana  slept  well   that  night  thinking  about  her  new  job  and  environment...........
