Simplicities

I always thought that the simplest things in life are the most beautiful. like the weather outside. just a little bit of sunshine or rain can change the whole entire day - and my feelings. 

there are reasons why one good word is better than a thousand useless ones. a reason why simplicities are so much more than complications.

the difference is that simple has a thousand meanings. 

to me, it means so many things.

to me, simplicity means being blunt. saying things in words that you don't even have to think about to understand. making everyone know everything, without having to use a million words. 

to me, simplicity is the simple things in life that bring you joy for no reason at all. such as: waking up in the summer to a bedroom filled with muted, rose-colored sunlight. such as: the way a hot cup of tea fogs up my glasses in the wintertime as I curl up on the couch, reading. or, perhaps, simplicity is me, imagining these picture-perfect things. perfect silence, perfect peace. simplicity in harmony with content.

the way that something so simple as simplicity can bring up so much inspiration is just amazing, isn't it? a thousand things to say about the clouds, floating outside, or the comforting noises of home. a thousand things to say on simplicity itself - so much so that I am able to write this author's word.
