Lylia didn't come home that night, nor the night before. So it was only Harley at home. This wasn't the first time she hadn't come home, but something about this felt different.

Even if she did come home Harley would have felt too tired to talk to her. He'd rather wallow in his own self misery than talk.

Maybe she did come home, but he was to busy thinking about tomorrow he had yet to notice her presence.

'Tomorrow'

Harley squeezed his eyes shut. The all too familiar feeling of dread creeped into his body.

Tomorrow would be the day he sees the leonin once again but under completely different circumstances.

What would he do when the time finally comes? Harley wasn't sure. The only thing on his mind now was what he would do or say if they crossed paths.

However every thought he thought of doing sounded so stupid. Eventually his mind drew up blanks on what to do, and he'd imagine what his future would look like of Harith was simply a normal person, with a normal life.

Would they become something more, would something break them apart like now?

Since the meeting Harley found himself being stuck in an endless sea of questions.
He hadn't had a proper conversation since then, his emotions were a wreck causing him to lash out at everyone even the people he loves.

So here he was curled up against the foot of his bed, taking deep breaths. surrounded by the remains of his things. Sure all the glass and stuff he had Broken were now cleaned up, even the bed had new sheets yet Harley still felt upset being inside his room.

With most of his things having to be thrown away his room felt empty. His bed was no longer comfortable, instead he now felt dirty laying down on it.

Not bearing being in his room for a second longer he trudged himself out of the room and into lylia's.

Some part of him hoped she would be inside, either playing with gloom, drawing in her little black book, or even watching random videos online, or literally doing anything but she wasn't there.

The sleepless nights soon caught up to him as he laid down on her bed, the silky lavender sheets felt like a fluffy cloud against his tired body.

When he woke up the next morning he felt numb, and His eyes were puffy. He must have began crying sometime during his sleep.

His body was heavy when he dragged himself out of bed and into his own. Harley couldn't help but laugh a bit as he put on one of his better work outfits.

Just like last night his mind for some reason still thought of Harith as the kind man he talked to in the bar.

Even if it wasn't true he wanted to pretend it was just for a little bit longer.

'I can still be wrong'

Was the last thing that crossed his mind as he drew a teleportation array on the training room door.

With a deep breath he turned the handle. Looking through what would he his hall way now showed his team gathered around the vander's drawing room.

Aurora was the first to notice his arrival "Vance nice of you to come back"

"Tsk, it's not like any of you guys didn't go home to sleep" he reasoned snarky.

Masha growled "We didn't leave early"

"Uh, actually Claude did too" Angela said meekly earning a glare from her.

Angela squeaked and hid behind Lylia.
