I yawned and set my bags on the floor next to me. Shopping socked. I hated it. I also felt antsy. I don't like being in public anymore. I used to love being around people, in buy places. Or just being in town. It made me feel alive for some reason. But now? I feel anxious like someone might attack and I feel unsafe.

I turned to the side and put my hand in the water. There was Japanese Yoi fish in the fountain. The fish all swam to my hand and swam around it. I could even pet one of them. I moved my hand around and they didn't seem scared. Our powers can't develop anymore. Can they?

I took my hand out of the water before anyone asked about it. I needed to tell Vanoss. He was still getting coffee.

"Hey cuties!" I heard a call. I lifted my head and saw two guys coming our way. I'll call them Guy 1 and Guy 2. I glanced at Marcel who was sitting next to me. He shrugged his shoulders and looked at the guys.

"Can we help you?" Marcel asked. The guys snickered and licked their lips.

"Hey what's your names? Sorry, I want to make sure I moan the right name." Guy 1 commented. I rolled my eyes and glared.

"Are you a dog? Cause why don't you be a good boy and leave us alone." I shot back. Guy 1 seemed amused by my come back.

He put his hand on my knee and slowly moved it up. I glared at him and didn't take my eyes off him. We had a contest. Both of us not breaking contact. His hand was on my thighs and he squeezed it.

"Get your fucking hands off him!" Marcel yelled and shoved Guy 1 in the chest. His hand left my thighs and I shifted uncomfortably. Guy 2 grabbed Marcel and spun him around. One hand trapping Marcel hands together and the other going up his shirt. Marcel had a panicked yet disgusted look on his face.

"Marcel!" I called and stood up to help. I clenched my fists and held in the urge to use my powers. I gritted my teeth and punched Guy 2 right in the jaw and then turning to Guy 1. He balled my shirt in his hand and brought me close.

"Thats my buddy you just punched. You don't want punishment now do you? Cause the more you scream the faster I'll go." He said in my ear. I felt my legs go weak but I quickly kept my hands and tried to push away.

Marcel kicked Guy 1 in the legs and it gave me the opportunity to do a quick left hook right to the nose and push him to the ground. Both groaned and got back up. The others were all getting coffee. Marcel and I were watching the bags so they didn't get stolen.

"Now you've done it." Guy 2 growled. Marcel grabbed my shoulder and I glanced at him.

"Book it for the coffee place." Marcel demanded. I nodded. I turned to look at the idiots. Both were running at us. Guy 1 held out his fist and I ducked under it and pushed his into the fountain. I turned to help Marcel. Guy 2 had his fist raised and he went to punch Marcel. Marcel caught the punch, twisted Guy 2 arm behind his back and pushed him into the fountain as well.

"Nice job." I laughed. Marcel smirked and fist dumped me. We both started running and I followed Marcel's lead. We ran to Starbucks and I saw Vanoss and Scotty talking. They put down their coffee when they saw us.

"Hey what's up? Why were you guys running?" Vanoss asked. I caught my breath and scoffed.

"Two idiots tried to flirt with Marcel and I. We threw them in the fountain. " I explained. Vanoss bit his lips and shook his head.

"Always getting in trouble Del. Do I need to get you a leash?" He joked. I laughed. If it meant being close to him than yeah.

"Oh look here they come!" Marcel pointed out. I turned and saw them dripping in water, clearly not happy. They stormed up to us and Vanoss and Scotty stepped in front of us.

"Those two dicks pushed us into the fountain. They need a lesson!" Guy 2 shouted.

"You deserved it so leave before you get broken limbs." Scotty threatened. Guy 1 grinned.

"Try me." He challenged. Vanoss had his arms crossed staring at the guy. Guy 1 waved his finger in front of Vanoss's face. In two seconds Vanoss has grabbed Guy 1 fingers, snapped it out of place, pulled him down a little, and kneed him right in the face. Guy 1 fell back and started screaming.

"Don't you ever touch my Del again." He growled. When he said "my Del" I blushed. I felt so special. The guys all made sounds and Vanoss realized what he said. He turned red and covered his face. I smiled.

"You fools. Flirting with us was your downfall. I got my Van to protect me. Think twice before challenging him." I smirked and put my arm around Vanoss. I knew I was red too.

Guy 2 picked up Guy 1 and hurried off. Scotty ruffled Marcel's hair.

"You okay Squirt?" He asked. Marcel glared but nodded.

"I'm fine." He huffed. Scotty smirked and kissed Marcel's cheek.

"Ready to go guys?" Tyler asked, pretending nothing happened. We nodded and started to walk out of the mall. I couldn't help but look at Vanoss. Man I wish I could date him.
