Poker face, poker face,
Rise with the sun.
My heart is sealed.
Yet beats on like a drum.
Poke face, poker face
Slip away into the stars.
At night I mourn,
And my tears leave scars.

You mask me so well.
You cover up my pain,
As my hurt feelings swell.
Poker face, poker face,
You're what I wish to be.
You're simply a clone
Of a new, improved me.
Poker face, poker face
They can't hear my screams.
In life you protect me,
With fake smiles and fake dreams.
