Fire spreading across the sky too high up to reach the trees spread across the area evaporating into nothing as soon as it came.

Sweat tangling with my fur I reached out for Rob's hand, intertwining my paws with his fingers comfortingly he snapped his head towards me, tears of fear in his eyes.

"I can't promise you he's alright Rob, because I'm not sure but...He's Preston, it takes a lot to bring him down...The rest of us...Well I'm not sure..." I assured earning a weak smile from him.

Hope smeared bountifully across his face as he turned away from me, gazing at where the screeches came from. Yelling broke the silence every so often along with snarls quickly following.

Something wasn't right.....A thought nagging the back of my mind my attention drifted to Mitch who had tears in his eyes as he tended to Vikk.

Nudging Rob on his arm gently I bobbed my head once towards Mitch, motioning for Rob to follow me. Trotting towards Mitch I kneeled down, tears in Vikk's eyes as well.

"What's wrong? Is something happening with Vikk?" Rob wondered earning a small whimper from Mitch as he sighed, smashing the syringe in his hand he used in the ground, glass shattering as

it split through his hand. An awkward silence spread through the area besides the constant sounds of snarls. Preston's voice silencing everything.

"YOU WON'T DO ANYTHING!!!!! EVER!!!!!" Preston's voice screeched and Rob tensed as an explosion finished the sounds from over there..

Vikk's eyes snapping up, fear and energy flashing through his face he bolted upwards struggling to stand up, his arms reaching out to where the explosion sounded..

"LACHLAN!!!! Lachlan....He was in there!! Lachlan!!!" Vikk cried out reaching his arm out to where the explosion but Mitch pulled him back into a resting position.

"Vikk, we can't let you go...You need to stay here.." I cooed but he shook his head, tears now coursing down his face.....

We're all falling apart....
