How It All Began: The Pack

Voices buzzing in my ears I felt my eyelids slowly open as the light of day pierced into my mind. Blinding me for a few seconds I brought my arms to my face, rubbing my eyes.

"Preston.....Preston was captured..." A voice choked out and I tensed, my eyes widening I let my hands drop to my sides as Jerome, Mitch and Rob all came into my line of view..

Captured?!?!? But what about.....What about Lachlan?....My eyes scanning rapidly across the area, my jaw dropping as my eyes landed on a beautiful blonde I adored so much.

"Lachlan?!?!" I squeaked out when my eyes met his beautiful, ocean blue ones. His whole face lighting up like a kid's face on Christmas he ran to me.

His whole body rushing across like a blur I gasped as he kneeled down rapidly, his face right in front of mine. His eyes a kind look to them.

Slowly leaning in I closed my eyes and so did he. A smile dancing on my lips as the space closed between us. Adrenaline rushing through my veins as I felt his sweet lips on mine.

Fireworks ringing in my ears as butterflies soared in my stomach I pressed a little further and so did he before we pulled apart simultaneously.

"AWWWWWWW!!!!!! THAT IS ADORABLE!!!!!" Jerome squeaked his paws waving rapidly in the air as he fan boyed at our kiss.

"Yeah....It was....Cute..." Rob mumbled not focused, his eyes seeming distant...Confusion sweeping across my mind as to why he was so grumpy a thought slapped into my mind.

"Rob, I promise we will find Preston....We just need to make sure everyone is healthy" I instructed Rob's eyes snapping back into focus he stared at me, his eyes teary.

"Vikk is right Rob...Don't worry, he'll come back...He always does....It's just who he is.." Mitch assured, doubt clearly not in his voice.

"It's not that I don't trust him on coming back that is bugging me, it's what if he can't?" Rob questioned, he has a point...

A really big one... But we needed to stick together to get him back...
