-Tired and Hungry-

It was known that neither Dazai or Chuuya had a good sleep schedule, Dazai can't sleep unless it's pitch black in the room but Chuuya can't sleep because of constant nightmares. The difference is Dazai can fall asleep any certain times of the night while Chuuya can't sleep at anytime because if he does the nightmares will start.

Chuuya was sitting on the couch waiting for dazai to come home until he got a text.

Mackerel: I won't be home for like 2 days

Slug: Wait why?

Mackerel: It's for work sorry

Slug: ok

The time was 9:00 he should head to bed soon, not like he was gonna go to sleep, if he did he would have to deal with the nightmares himself and he didn't feel like doing that.

He did he usual nightly routine and once he was done he got into bed and just stared at the ceiling, his phone ringed and he of course picked up knowing who it was.

"Heyyyy chuuyaaaa~" Dazai said annoyingly

"What do you want bastard." Chuuya said trying to sound as mad as possible but in all honesty he was happy someone called him or else he would have just kept looking at the ceiling.

"I was just bored and decided to call you~" Dazai said still trying to sound annoying.

"I hate you."

"Love you too~"

Chuuya was about it hang up until he heard dazai's voice again.

"Listen I know you have nightmares but please try to get some sleep while I'm gone." Dazai said now sounding serious "Yeah yeah whatever." Chuuya hung up "Idiot you know I won't." Chuuya said as he put down his phone and kept looking at the wall now.

The sun rose and of course Chuuya was still awake he didn't get even a minute of sleep, Chuuya just stayed in bed until of course Dazai texted him again.

Mackerel: Good morning chuu!

Slug: what do you want

Mackerel: Just wanted to say good morning:(

Slug: your annoying

Mackerel: Yea yea you tell me every day

Mackerel: make you sure you eat too I'm not there to check on you >:(

Chuuya didn't listen of course and barely ate anything, he barely had anything to eat anyways and he didn't feel like going to the store. He stayed in bed all day since he had a small headache, he took some medicine but it barely helped. Tomorrow Dazai would be home finally so that meant the house wouldn't be as quiet as it is now.

The time was 8:26 pm so that means he would have to spend another long night in complete silence and darkness. He did his nightly routine and went to go lay in bed but when he got into his room he started crying.

Why. He has nothing to cry about. Crying is for the weak. He hasn't cried in a while so why now. He decided to call Dazai to get his mind off things and possibly stop crying.

"Hey Chuuya~ didn't expect for you to call me~" Dazai said annoyingly but stopped trying to sound like that went he heard quiet sniffles "Chuuya?" Dazai started getting a little worried "Hey sorry I didn't notice you answered." Chuuya said, his breathing was shaky and you could tell he wasn't okay "Is everything fine over there?" Dazai said now fully worried "Yea I'm fine." Chuuya said trying to steady his breathing.

"No you're not what's wrong."

"I don't know. I got done with everything I usually do before bed and when I got into my room I started crying."

"Have you slept or ate?"

"No not really."

"Go grab something to eat your probably hungry."

"I don't have anything to eat and plus if I do eat something I'll just feel sick."

"Well tomorrow when I get home we are gonna go to the store and get something that won't make you feel sick."

"ok"

"Is there anything else you need?"

"No I just hate how quiet it is here but I don't feel like hearing your annoying voice 24/7"

"Your words hurt me Chuuya!"

"Yea? Well I hope the hurt real bad."

Chuuya soon hung up the phone after he said that, he felt better after talking to Dazai but then the room became quiet again. Chuuya decided to just drink the night away, Maybe then he would get some sleep.

Chuuya had a even bigger headache, he didn't get any sleep so that plan failed but Atleast Dazai would finally get home today. He decided to go take a bath to make himself feel better but when he stood up he stepped on glass "I must have broken a bottle. Great." Chuuya said as he walked the best he could into the bathroom. He took the glass out of his foot and started the water.

He was finally in the bathtub sitting there, the only thing he could hear was water moving around and his own breathing 'god I'm so tired' Chuuya thought to himself until he finally he fainted in the bathroom. Not out of tiredness but the lack of food he's ate, the last time he ate was three days ago he hadn't ate the two days Dazai had been gone and didn't eat the day before dazai left.

"Chuuya! Chuuya wake up!" Dazai yelled shaking Chuuya until his eyes finally opened "Oh thank god you're okay." Dazai just sighed in relief "Jeez how long was I out." Chuuya said as he sat up, he noticed he wasn't in the bathtub but instead on the bathroom floor "For like 4 hours I honestly thought you died. I mean I walk in and I see you in a bathtub with small bits of blood in it." Dazai laughed a little trying to brighten up the mood in the room but it only made it worse "sorry." Chuuya said a whisper "It's fine as long as your okay. Are you hungry?" Dazai said as he stood up and reached out his hand to help Chuuya up "No" Chuuya said as he stood up. "Ok that's fine how about we watch a movie. And don't be scared to fall asleep I'll be there." Dazai said smiling. Chuuya just nodded and walked out of the bathroom.

Half way through the movie Chuuya finally fell asleep while laying his head on dazai's chest but woke up a few minutes later "Hey hey it's alright I'm right here." Dazai said as he pulled Chuuya back down "Thanks" Chuuya said as he layed back down.
