Chuuya had recently gotten a really nice camera, the photos it took was amazing and he always bragged to Dazai about how good it was though dazai never really listened. "Are you even listening Mackerel?!" Chuuya put down the camera on the bar stand, they were at bar lupin as usual "Huh?! Oh yea sorry!" Dazai laughed a little at the end of his sentence. "Whatever anyways I'm gonna be heading out. See you later." Chuuya grabbed his hat and coat and his camera and started to walk out "Bye dazai." Chuuya said but he didn't get a response only silence "Dazai?" Chuuya started to get worried and you could hear it in his voice "Huh! Oh Bye Chuuya!" Dazai was finally snapped out of his thoughts. Once Chuuya saw Dazai finally stand up and walk close to the door he finally walked out and went his own separate way.

Snow was on the ground and outside the window though dazai didn't not bother to look he slept in today but he didn't care. He heard his phone buzzing but he didn't bother to check it. He didn't even bother to get out of bed. He didn't get much sleep last night so that made the darkness under his eyes get worse, everything in his body hurt so he just kept laying down until he heard a knock at his door. But soon he heard the door being kicked open and he already knew who it was "Dazai! Where are you mackerel?!" Chuuya yelled walking in until he finally came into dazais room. Everything was a mess. Dazai was a mess "Jeez what happened in here." Chuuya said sarcastically. "I've been calling and texting you all day so I got worried. Is everything okay." Chuuya leaned on the door frame to dazais room, Dazai sat up and sat on his bed "I'm fine I just overslept sorry" Dazai said as he started to stand up. Standing up hurt his body worse but he didn't want it worry Chuuya more so he just hid it. "Whatever now that I know your okay I'm going home." Chuuya started to walk to the front door until he heard dazais voice "Hey uh could we go to the park close by." Chuuya just looked at dazai confused. "Sure I guess just hurry up and get ready I don't have all day." Chuuya groaned and sat down on the couch.

(Time skip)
"So why did you wanna come here?"Chuuya asked while walking "Nothing I just felt that if we don't now we might never get to again that's all." Dazai looked up at the sky, everything looked fuzzy probably from the snow. "Hey Chuuya did you bring your camera?" Dazai asked while looking at the sky "Uh yea why?" Chuuya looked at dazai confused until he heard dazai speak again "Why don't we take a photo." Dazai looked at chuuya and smiled softly. "Alright fine but why?" Chuuya grabbed the camera from the small bag he was carrying "No reason I just thought why not. That all." Dazai soon snatched the camera out of chuuyas hands "Hey what the-" Chuuya tried to get the camera back "Smile Chuu!" Dazai hugged Chuuya and took the photo of the two of them. "Here you go now you can have it back!" Dazai gave the camera back to chuuya and started walking faster then him "Hey wait up Mackerel!" Chuuya quickly put the camera away and ran after dazai.

Dazais phone wouldn't stop buzzing and ringing until finally he grabbed it and blocked chuuya, he dosent need him anyway. He was currently sitting down on the bathroom floor and a certain kind of liquid but his eyes were to blurry to see the color, all he knew was that everything in his body hurt.

Chuuya rushed to put on his shoes and get to his car, maybe he was just overthinking things and maybe Dazai was okay but he wasn't taking any chances. He soon got to his car and immediately started driving to where Dazai's apartment was.

Once he got there he locked his car and ran up the stairs, he was out of breath but he couldn't stop to catch his breath because he has a feeling things aren't okay. He quickly opened the front door and ran to dazais room, of course he wasn't there maybe he was just over thinking and nothing was wrong and he came here for nothing until he saw the light on in the bathroom. He quickly ran to open the bathroom door to only see something he expected but didn't want to see.

blood. bandages. razor blades. pill bottles. and of course a almost dead dazai.

"MACKEREL" Chuuya yelled he quickly ran to dazai trying to see if he was awake "I d-didn't expect t-to see you today." Dazai softly smiled when he said that. He tried to lift up his head but his body hurt to much, "Dont move idiot." Chuuya was now looking for a first aid kit so he could try and help him. "d-dont bother looking f-for one. your t-to late." Dazai still kept that soft smile on his face "Dont talk like that!" Chuuya yelled, you could hear the sadness and panic in his voice tears were down running down his face. "C-Chuuya-" Dazai was cut off by Chuuya "Just shut up! please." Chuuya yelled still looking for anything to try and wrap up his wounds, "Chuuya l-listen to me." Dazai finally sat up even though it hurt his body worse. "You know you weren't supposed to come here. I'm s-sorry for ignoring y-you." Dazai tried to speak without stuttering but he couldn't. "Dazai you really are a idiot, the only reason I came here was because I was worried. I didn't expect to see you half dead in a puddle of blood. I was hoping you were just ignoring me to make me mad." Chuuya laughed a little while saying that. "I-I'm sorry Chuuya." It started getting harder to breath by the second "Dazai can you be quiet I'm looking for your stupid bandages since you wasted all of them.". all that greeted Chuuya when he said that was silence "Dazai?" "DAZAI." Chuuya ran back to dazai and tryed feeling for a pulse, it was going away so faster. "i l-love you, y-you know t-that right." Dazai started closing his eyes "I do too but that's not important right now!" Chuuya tried hugging dazai but dazai made Chuuya kiss him.

They're first and last kiss.

"dazai?" Chuuya pulled away. "DAZAI!" Chuuya yelled out. he's dead. he's gone. All he could do was hug him even if he's just hugging a dead body. he couldn't leave him.

A few days had passed by, before chuuya had left dazais apartment he called a ambulance. Snow was still on the ground and the only thing he still had left of dazai was his jacket and the photo.

"No wonder you wanted to take a photo. You knew things would end up like this didn't you." Chuuya was sitting on his bedroom floor wearing dazais jacket and looking at the photo.

"What's the real reason you wanted to take a photo." Chuuya said while putting away the camera, "I simply just wanted to take a photo, and make it last forever." Dazai said softly. "Your annoying dazai." Chuuya said annoyed "And your annoying too!" Dazai stuck his tongue out at chuuya and started walking fast then him "Wait up Mackerel!" Chuuya yelled while chasing after dazai.

"Take a photo and make it last forever. You really are annoying dazai." Chuuya said still looking at the photo.

Now Chuuya was the one staying in bed and ignoring his phone. Now he was the one not getting any sleep or eating.

Now he was the one bringing flowers to dazais grave. "Hope your having fun mackerel. I love you." Chuuya said while sitting next to his grave. Just like dazai used to sit next to odas grave.

"I'll see you again someday dazai. I promise."
