Part {5] - Eren's POV

Eren's POV

I said my goodbyes to Levi and headed the opposite way.

I was about to turn right where my class was when someone crept up from behind me and caught me off guard then I felt a slight pain from my head which slowly faded away.

I turned to look behind me and there was no one on sight. I was the only one in the hallway. I started to slowly walk through the hallway and taking a quick peek through the left and right hallways. I caught a glimpse of a foot leaving from the right side so my curiosity got the best of me and I walked towards it without even thinking.

I caught up to them, grabbing the person's wrist firmly but at the same time being careful to not hurt them too much. I had my eyes closed so before I could open them the mysterious person whacked me in the head leaving me unconscious on the hard, cold floor.

I woke up about 5 minutes later. What? What am I doing on the floor? I quickly wondered as soon as I regained my consciousness. I grabbed my phone from my back pocket and quickly checked the time. Oh sh- "Eren?" My thoughts were cut off by someone.

I looked up and realized it was Mina. "What are you doing on the ground?" She asked while helping me get up. "That's what I'm wondering too," I answered. "I'll see you later Mina, bye!" I shouted before hurrying to my class. "Yeah, bye!" she shouted back.

"I'M HERE!" I yelled after opening the door. "Ah, Yeager. Finally decided to come to class, eh?" Professor Mike spoke up but was later then interrupted when the bell rang, meaning it was time for lunch.

"Guess you'll have to stay with the other students who were late," He said followed by a "Take a seat now," this time with a bit more seriousness in his voice.

Mid-class and I was already starting to fall asleep. It felt like I was in battle with something known as sleep. I tried to fight it off but after many failed attempts I finally let myself go to the darkness.

Professor Mike noticed I was sleeping when his class finished and I faintly heard him say "Someone please wake up Eren," but even if I was still somehow mid-awake I ignored the others who were trying to wake me up and quickly fell asleep once again.

Many minutes later

I woke up from my slumber when I felt something on my left eye. A sort of pencil or pen maybe?

"Ayo what?" I said half-awake. There were three girls around me and they were giggling in unison after I woke up which gave me the chills.

While they backed away I saw that one was holding a pouch of makeup? The second one was hiding what she was holding behind her back. And then there's third one. I saw Mikasa use that on special occations so if I'm correct, that's an eyeliner.

Eyeliners are for the eyes so I'm assuming they put it on my eye while I was asleep since I felt that feeling on my left eye.

I looked around the room and I saw that Professor Mike wasn't here so I walked out the classroom heading to the restroom leaving the giggling girls behind.

I arrived at the restrooms and when I was about to go to the boy's restroom, I bumped into Mina while she was leaving the girl's restroom. "Ah, sorry" I apologized.

She was about to say something so I waited but after a few seconds I got tired and was gonna walk away but she had different plans. She forced her lips onto mine. I tried to pull away instead of pushing her because I didn't want to hurt a girl. I told myself that I wouldn't hurt a girl, ever since that day happened.

Although that changed when I saw someone.

Levi.

I saw as he turned and walked away. Something in me contradicted what I just thought and I pushed Mina aside making her hit the floor.

I ran after him.

"Levi! Please just let me explain! Levi!" I yelled out hoping he'd slow down and let me explain.

I screamed out his name multiple times but not even once did he turn to look at me. My voice gave up and soon enough my legs gave up too.

Even if those parts had given up, my mind never did so I came up with an idea and started walking fast with the little strength I had left back to the place it all happened. Outside the restrooms.

When I got there I was surprised to see Mina still there, she looked like she was frozen. As calmly as I could I said "Sorry," and I followed the sentence with "Why did you do that." the calmly tone disappeared and a more angry tone appeared.

Silence.

"W-well when we bumped into each other, you were b-blushing, and well- I- I thought that you maybe liked me and I took my chances." she finally spoke stuttering over some words. "And you're still blushing as we speak," she added.

That last part made me confused since I didn't feel like I was blushing at the time. I touched my cheek and noticed there was pink. Ah so that's what that girl hid. Blush. I thought. "Well you were mistaken, that blush was makeup. Now why don't you go away for once." I told her clearly annoyed.

After she left I went into the restroom, grabbed my phone, put the phone somewhere on the sink, opened the camera app, clicked record and finally, I began by saying "1st try on explaining this and recording it. Hey you son of a bitch, you didn't even let me explain," tears began to stream down my face, slowly but surely.

"Fuck, I didn't ask those girls for makeup remover. No actually, hands and tears will do," I started to remove the eyeliner and the blush from my face.

I first explained about what happened in class and then about what happened with Mina. Some sobs were heard while I was explaining but I paid no mine to it and continued.

When I finished recording, I didn't bother to look at the video since I didn't want to see myself look so pathetic. All for one boy. And that exact boy is someone I would do anything for. Cringey? Maybe.

I skipped my remaining classes and left the school premises. I needed some air for now so I decided to go to a nearby park to spend my time.
