"Common my son, you're needed in the thrown room" Alice called to an 18 year old Killian who was riding his horse in the garden, "what's it now mother?" He asked getting off the horse, and handing the reins over to the stable boy
"You're wearing your new suit!?" She scolded
"Aye I'm sorry mother"
"Watch your language, no son of mine will have the tongue of a pirate or commoner!"
"Sorry mother" he said sadly walking to go inside, she stopped him and started straightening out his suit
"There handsome as always my Killian, you better wash up after the meeting"
"Yes ma'am" he sighed
They entered the thrown room where Avery stood with a man, woman and young woman, around his age
"There you are lad" Avery smiled
"What's going on?" Killian asked
"Killian this is Princess Belle, she's staying with us and you will get to know her, next year you will marry her" Alice explained entering
"W-what?" He asked shocked
Belle smiled at him, "well it's nice to meet you Prince Killian" she held her hand out for him to take, he was still shocked too notice, until his mother nudged him
"Oh, umm, please it's just Killian, and likewise" he took her hand and kissed the top of it, he wasn't liking any of this
"Well now, while we make arrangements you 2 shall get to know each other" Alice said leaving the room with the other parents,
"Let's make a deal when we get married I make the rules
We use my family's name
I can send you off anywhere after any fight
I choose when we have kids
Ya got that!?" The princess asked firmly, after giving all her orders.
Killian looked at her shocked, she just stood their waiting for an answer
"Um, yes Princess" he said quietly, totally not looking forward to marrying her
"Good, now show me around Prince Killian, I'll be staying here I might as well know everything"
"Yes princess" he sighed leading the way
He had an awful time, she was so bossy, always expected him to listen to whatever she wanted to do
And spent most of her time sticking her nose in a book
Her parents had left hours ago and she had gone to bed, Killian went to speak to his mother, she was in the kitchen
"Mother, can we talk please?" He asked nervously
"Of course my son" she smiled
"Mother I don't want to marry Belle, she's rude and wants to boss me around and is reading more than talking to me and when she does she's telling me all these strict rules" he complained
"Killian there has never. been a time where I wasn't this disappointed in you, don't be selfish over a woman not wanting to be controlled over or a woman wanting her name still, or wanting an education" Alice said
"But she-"
"No, you will get to know her, your birthday is when you'll announce your engagement, you will get to love her and marry her, do I male myself clear?!"
"Y-yes ma'am" he sighed
Alice kissed his forehead, "now get to bed, you have a lot of fittings to do"
"Yes mother"
"My son is a man now, soon you'll be a king"
Killian smiled before leaving for bed
