Killian snuck back out of the dungeon and went to his mother's vault,
There were a lot of things in there, many were Pirates old belongings: rings from the executed, swords, chains.
He saw an old family portrait and on it had his father Brennan.
There was magic there, lots of magic, many weapons of magic. He found what Emma had described and hide it in his pocket.
He turned to leave when he noticed something that made him freeze completely
It was a portrait of his parents and Emma's - Avery was there too - they were rather young in it, they were teenagers and they seemed to be in very formal wear
But one question was bothering Killian. HOW? How was any of this possible? He KNEW that Emma must know something, she always did right?
He quickly snuck back down and went straight to Emma's cell "Dark one, how do our parents know each other-"
"Killian Brennan Jones!" His mother yelled "you let the prisoners escape!"
"No, I was in my room" he lied
She grabbed his face, "don't lie to me son"
He pushed her off "unlock the cell mother, NOW"
Alice rolled her eye and did as asked
Killian walked in and sat Emma on her bed "it's this?" He said to confirm it. She nodded "you are as strong and handsome as you lead on" she added flirting.
Killian blushed "w-well I do prefer--"
"Killian! Get whatever you're doing done and get back to your room and STAY THERE!" Alice yelled
"Shut up Alice, get the maids, we'll need help" he instructed
"Did you just order me to do something?" Alice asked shocked
"Alice! Go do it! Now!" Killian spat impatient. She hugged and stormed off.
All of Killian's focus was now on Emma, "so how does this work?" He asked curiously
"Basically I just drink this to speed up my pregnancy and then the baby will start to show and I'll be in labour" she explained quietly, and patiently holding her hand out to receive the vile
Killian handed it to her hesitantly "is it gonna hurt? Will either of you be hurt??"
"Emotionally maybe, physically, very unlikely"
"But it just like, grows, and then you have to give birth" he said confused
"Okay, it probably will hurt. But I'm desperate, I need someone to protect the baby so she can have a normal life and knows that she's loved"
She drank the potion and waited
"I-it didn't work" Killian said shocked
The glass broke against the ground, and Emma grabbed her belly. "Nope, nope, it definitely did work" she said trying to breath
Killian helped her lie down "it's gonna be okay" he turned towards the door "Alice! Hurry up with that maid!"
