Shehnaaz was hurt. She was broken and shattered. Yet she didn't blame him for anything.

The next morning, when Sidharth woke up he found breakfast and lunch box on the table. She wasn't there, probably gone to office.

He got ready and ate his breakfast and left to office with the lunch box. It was a busy day for him at his office.

He felt relieved because yesterday, he vent out his anger and cleared the air from his side. He messaged Sana asking her to not miss the radio show today. She replied him with an okay.

Arthur: Hello, Salam, Namastey and Jai Ram Ji Ki. Welcome to your favourite show M3L, with me your favourite RJ, RJ Arthur only on 96.4 Hot Chilli FM. Today, please pardon me my lovely fan girls I am going to break your heart. Cause I am going to say something to my best friend via this beautiful evergreen song which I had been trying to say from long long time..

(Music starts)

I love you
Kaate nahin katate ye din ye raat
Kehni thi tumse jo dil ki baat
Lo aaj main kehta hoon i love you
I love you i love you
I love you i love you
I love you i love you
I love you i love you

Sana immediately turned off the radio. She had never expected this to happen to her. She had only considered him as a best friend and nothing else.

Arthur was very happy to have finally communicated to her his feelings. He finished the rest of his show where the callers who called him to pull prank at someone, congratulated him first. As soon as he went out of the glass room, he took his phone from his locker.

Sana: Arthur, I hope it was a prank and it is not exactly what the words in the song meant. Today I am going to disclose you something. I am a married woman who loves her husband. It's a different story that he loves someone else other than me. But that doesn't change my love for him.

I have always considered you as a friend and I set it straight even before we started our conversation that 'I would love to be friends with you but let's not expect anything out of this bond. We will just know each other by our names. I haven't seen you nor have you seen me, let's not give it a face to destroy our bond.' Why did you forget this Arthur?

He read it over and over again those lines to see if there was anything which could set it correct. He didn't wanted to lose the friendship.

Arthur: I am sorry Sana. I made a mistake but I hope this wouldn't change our relationship of being a best friend.

Sana: Arthur, how do I unhear what I just heard? Will you be able to erase the feeling you have for me? I can understand your situation, since I am sailing in the same boat with you. But how can I just be negligent that you hold a different feeling towards me? I would feel like I am cheating my own husband even if he doesn't expect anything from me. I leave it to you to decide by stepping yourself into my shoes.

Sidharth was heart broken. He never thought about this before approaching her. All he thought about was his situation and didn't even for one second thought that she could have been married as well. She didn't speak about her marriage, neither did he spoke about his.

He went home and rang the doorbell but Shehnaaz didn't open the door. He pulled out his key and unlocked the door. He went to his room and slept. He was drained completely physically, mentally and emotionally.

After around 2 hours, he woke up and went outside. Shehnaaz wasn't there. He had a doubt since he didn't see her the whole day, he pulled the drawer of the Diwan cot and his doubt was converted into reality. She was gone.

Where did she go? Do you realise her pain now? The way you treated her, you got the same treatment. You atleast had reasons but Shehnaaz didn't have any reasons to like you or stay with you. Yet she made this house look like home and she cooked for you. But you never made an effort to talk to her or know anything about her. You've lost Sana and now you've lost Shehnaaz as well with no clue to find her.

Tiwari: Hello Sir! What happened? Today you are eating from canteen again? What happened to your Tiffin service?

Sidharth cursed him from inside for sprinkling salt on his wounds.

Sidharth: The owner shut down the business and went back to his home town.

Tiwari: Oh!! What a bummer! Do one thing sir. Baankey found a new Tiffin service, you can ask him to get one extra box for you.

Sidharth: It's okay, Tiwari. I will soon adjust again to this taste.

Tiwari: So what are you doing for the long weekend Sir? Diwali, Govardhan Puja and Bhai dooj. Going home or staying in city alone?

Sidharth: No plans yet.

Tiwari: Hmm.. okay Sir, Enjoy your meal. Would you like to try my Tiffin? My wife learnt a new dish, it's very delicious.

Sidharth: (remembered Shehnaaz's cooking) No, thanks!

Sidharth lied in his bed lost in his thoughts while everyone in the town got ready to celebrate the festival of lights, Diwali the next day. There was a knock on the door. He wondered who could it be at this hour.

His jaw fell when he opened the door and found Shehnaaz standing infront with her suitcase. She went inside the house directly while Sidharth looked at her in shock. He closed the door and went inside.

Sidharth: What the hell is this? Do you think it's a hotel to come and go unannounced at anytime? You left notes when you were here but couldn't leave a note before you leave?

Shehnaaz arranged her clothes in the drawer without any response as Sidharth went on probing non-stop questions. He held her arm and turned her towards him to get her to listen and answer. She had her eyes lowered.

Sidharth: Hello, I am asking you!!

She looked up into his eyes and he felt as if someone pierced an arrow.

These eyes, they remind me of someone! Sana!! The first time I met her, I only saw her almond shaped eyes and these are just her exact replica.

He left her hand and she turned back to arrange the clothes. Since, he was silent, she started speaking.

Shehnaaz: Don't worry, I haven't come here to take shelter again. I earn enough and have also an alternate arrangement for myself.

My bhaiyya called me in the evening. He invited us home for our first Diwali festival celebrations after marriage but since I gave him some excuse he himself decided to come here and celebrate the festival with us. He will be here for 4 days starting tomorrow. It's Bhai dooj 2 days later.

For your kind information, my bhaiyya is a goon, and if he comes to know that we don't stay together than he will change the geography of your handsome face. So I just came here to save your handsome face to be presentable for your lover.

Sidharth: Does that mean you didn't go to your brother's house?

Shehnaaz started at him in disbelief and those eyes made him uncomfortable again. He looked to his left side.

Sidharth: And you didn't tell your brother that you weren't staying with me.

She shook her head and raised her eyebrows to show disbelief and sighed. Shehnaaz got on the Diwan bed and pulled a blanket lying down.

Shehnaaz: Please turn off the lights before you go to your room and one more thing, I will have to stay in your room from tomorrow morning.

Sidharth looked at her n surprise, is she the same girl who didn't speak a word until today from the time she came home for the first time. The way she spoke showed her confidence and intelligence and a badass attitude as well. He had never observed her properly but she was very beautiful.
