As the score was fixed on 2-2, Takebi was getting excited and I knew it after seeing his face. He was holding his own against Kageyama Senpai, that is a big deal for sure.

The next serve was made as a jump floater serve which was yet again picked up by Nishinoya Senpai and this time it went to Kageyama Senpai again and he passed the serve to Tanaka San. Tanaka San spiked the serve but again I picked that serve and it went to Takebi San and this time he passed to Hinata San and Hinata San did his thing.

And there was absolutely no one there, so I thought that we had this point in the belt but boy was I wrong. For some reason, Nishinoya Senpai reached it and picked the ball with his single foot which was damn crazy to look at. But it went again to Kageyama Senpai and this time he made a setter dump which completely took three of us by surprise because we did not expect this.

Kageyama Senpai then gave a smug to Takebi who after seeing that controlled his anger. But Kageyama Senpai proved that we newbies stand no chance against him.

And I knew that from the very start, but I also knew that we too have Hinata Senpai and I knew that with his help we can stand on an equal footing against these legendary players. So the game went back and forth between us and it reached 8-5, the other team in lead.

The momentum built by Kageyama and Nishinoya Senpai was killing me. I was not sure about Takebi San but I knew about Hinata Senpai, he looked determined.

The next spike serve was made by Kageyama Senpai and I tried to pick up the serve. But this time I could not as the serve was just so goddamn fast. I missed and closed my eyes thinking that this point is already lost but then I heard a voice behind me, "DON'T GIVE UP, NOW!!" and I saw that the ball has already reached Takebi San and then I saw Hinata Senpai jump in front of me, Takebi San passed and he spiked the ball which was so fast, even Nishinoya Senpai could not reach the spiked ball.

The points were 8-6 and I was genuinely sad because I gave up before even the ball hit the ground and Takebi San came near me and put his hand on my shoulder and then went to hit his serve. I felt weirdly relieved and full of energy again.

I will try to play my best against them now, I thought to myself and I did exactly that, the next few points, we went and tied the score and I felt I was doing great.

The next time, Takebi San did his serve and I was ready for whatever was to come but Kageyama Senpai was also more ready than ever. He pretended to set but fastly switched to spiking the safe received from Nishinoya Senpai and that was devastating.

I could not react an inch. It was so fast and so sleek. I felt inferior there, I could never have predicted this move used against me, and now I faced a dilemma, I now became unsure, about what to trust in my observations and my instincts.

The points were 9-8 which were not bad by any means because while we lost our momentum, we could still very much gain back that momentum.

But the points kept rolling in favor of the other team. Kageyama, Tanaka, and Nishinoya Senpai were more fired than ever and the point went from bad to worst. It was 13-9, I asked myself, "How the hell can we even stop them?"

"As I said Don't give up now." Hinata Senpai shouted loud and on his face, the determination he always had was there. How could he feel so relaxed?? We are 4 points behind, I know that this is not a serious match by any means but still how can a person be so relaxed here if he seriously wants to win??

Tanaka San did his serve next time and I picked it up with ease. And it went to Takebi San and he passed it straight to Hinata Senpai and he again jumped. I saw that Kageyama and Tanaka San were already there to shatter the last ray of hope for us but then Hinata Senpai did something different opposing to the simple spike he always does.
