"Now what does she want?" Hook growled.

"You should hear the girl out." Will commented.

Hook angrily pushed the cork back into the dark flask and secured the bottle under his coat. Both men then traveled up the stairs to the Captain's Quarters.

As soon as Hook slammed open the door you were ready to speak, but you briefly paused when you saw Hook's red puffy eyes. It almost lost looked as if he'd been crying, but then again, watery, bloodshot eyes were a sign of alcoholism. That's pretty must a requirement to be a pirate.

"Hook there's a flaw in your deal."

"Really, I thought there wasn't even a deal any more."

"Oh I assure you, your deal is off the table."

Will spoke up, "I told him to call the whole thing off and just set you free."

"Thank you Will, but the Captain here would never agree to that because it would show he was a coward, and Hook has shown me he doesn't quite fancy that term being used for himself. No, calling off the deal would solve no one's problems."

"What is your proposal?" Hook inquired.

"First I want out of my restraints."

Hook glared at you, but you shot back a look showing you were completely serious. Hook nodded to Will to untie the ropes. He probably was only okay with the ropes coming off because of the weakened state you were in since your capture.

After you were free, "Now please take a seat." Hook rolled his eyes but obliged. "See, you're so much sweeter when you cooperate." You said repeating his words to you.

Hook was angry at the upper hand you somehow had seemed to attain. He glanced over to Will "That will be all Mr. Turner." Signaling it was time to leave, begrudgingly Will left and partially shut the door behind him.

"So Hook, if Peter did agree to your plan. You get your way. Then what? What's next for you after Peter is defeated?"

"I get a peaceful night's rest." He smiled.

"No." You bluntly said.

"Why?"

"Your sole goal right now is kill Peter. After that your life would be empty. Nothing to look forward to."

"I still have a crocodile to skin." He added.

"How do you expect to even reach him?" You countered while slightly raising your voice.

"Pixie dust will help the ship fly out of here."

"How can you expect to have enough! You used it all to make a blanket to hide under!" Pause for dramatic effect. "By the time there is enough collected, the pixies will have put the harvest in a place you'll never reach." Hook was speechless. "Even if you could leave. After killing the Dark One, boom! Life empty again. Are you sensing a pattern here?"

"Don't think you can offer me advice. We are both very different."

"Are we? I probably wouldn't go to the same lengths as you, but that's probably because I haven't suffered as long. You've got that look in your eyes, that look when you've been left alone. Same one the lost boys have, Peter has, I had." He shifted in his seat. "You and I, we understand each other."

"What are you getting at exactly?" Hook asked in a low voice.

"Make a deal with Peter, I go free, and so do you. Have you even asked him for passage off the island?"

"Of course I have."

"Then why is he keeping you here?"

"He hates me."

You took a second to process. "Wait, he's keeping you here because he doesn't want you here....just when I think I understand Peter, he does something like this."

"He'll do whatever it takes to keep my crew and me away from what we desire."

"You left Neverland to get Jane. Why didn't you just stay away?"

"She was a pawn for revenge. I used her to try to kill Pan."

"That really backfired on you."

"I know." He groaned. "He now keeps me here to prevent me from getting revenge on the Dark One and limiting my resources to get revenge on him."

"Propose to him this deal, if he doesn't take it I'll-well I'm not going to kill him, but he'll still suffer."

Hook gestured with his hand. "So I leave here without Pan's blood on my heads, then I go straight to killing the Dark One."

"No." Again a blunt answer.

"Stop with that."

"No. Anyway Hook, you need to leave and find a new happy ending. One that doesn't involve murder."

"Villains don't get happy endings."

"Then stop being a villian. Find someone that'll make you a hero."

"You think a single person could change me into a hero?"

"The right one, yes."
