Chapter 14
"Thanks Harry" I smiled slightly at him.
"It's not that I don't feel the same way, because I do, I'm just not ready. So friends? For now anyway?" I suggested and he nodded in agreement.
"Have you heard from Sirius?" He asked me as we started to walk back to the castle.
"Not for a while actually" I shrugged.
We walked back to the castle. Harry was to be leading the DA meeting today. We walked in and saw everyone there waiting for us, Tora with a sly smirk on her face. She knew, I could sense her there in the woods. I rolled my eyes and her and went to join everyone as Harry went to the front.
"Okay everyone, so today we will be learning the Patronus charm. It's the key to getting rid of dementors and it really handy when you need to protect yourself. To cast one, all you need to do is think of your favourite memory, the moment when you were happiest. Leg that memory fill you up and say 'Expecto Patronum'" Harry instructed. We all went off around the room, Tora and I going near the corner.
"What memory are you going to choose?" I asked her, considering we had most the same memories. She thought for a second before replying.
"One with dad. Remember when we were really little and he used to chase us around the house?" Tora smiled a bit at the memory.
She was right to pick that. It was one of the times I could remember being at my happiest. Dad used to chase us round our small cozy house and into the garden where he would catch us and tickle us till we were too tree to get up.
I thought about that memory over and over, slowly letting the words leaving my lips. A large blue/white light left the tip of my wand and took the shape of a puppy, running around the room excitedly. "Amazing Florrie!" Harry congratulated me. The puppy bounded round the room, running all over the place. As I began to loose focus, the puppy slowly disappeared.
"Remember, it can only protect you as long as you stay focused" Harry called out to us all.
Tora tried next, closing her eyes for a minute, thinking of the memory. Her wand lit up after a second and a nervous squirrel began to scamper around the room, dodging spells and peoples wands as it went around.
Ginny's horse galloped around the room while Hermione's otter swam around her playfully. Ron's terrier managed to knock over Neville as it bounded about the place. Neville however, wasn't having much success. I sighed and walked up to him, seeing that he looked very disheartened as others managed it on their first try.
"Hey Neville" I greeted him, watching as he gave it another go. A light poured out his wand but slowly faded away.
"It's okay Neville. Maybe you aren't using a strong enough memory" I suggested. I thought for a moment before an idea popped into my head.
"Why don't you think about your favourite memory with Tora?" I hinted, both our eyes looking over to my twin who was watching happily her patronus scurried all over the place.
He nodded and cast the spell again. This time, after a short moment, the light erupted from his wand and took the form of a ram, walking with pride and bravery. Tora looked our way and ran over, hugging him. Neville looked over joyed and many clapped for him.
That was until there was a loud bang. The chandelier shook and the walls began to crumble. I instantly felt Harry by my side. We all looked to the glass which cracked, a small hole now visible. After a moment i walked towards it, bending down so i was eye level with it. I saw Umbridge and Filtch first as well as Malfoy and a few others that i couldn't make out. Harry quickly looked and hurried me away.
The wall blew out, rumble falling all over the floor. Standing there was umbridge with her wand pointed at us, looking very pleased with herself. Flitch tugged someone into view for all of us to see. Cho Chang. That cow.

Sorry we haven't updated in ages. I've just had a massive wave of exams and revising so i didn't really have time. Anyway also sorry for the short update but i kind of have to get back into the feel of the story :(
