For some reason, I did not trust Emilio. Celeste had warned me about his weakness for attractive men and woman. I had a feeling that he wasn’t going to be able to hold up his end of the deal. So, I would have to make sure that I was around Emilio at all times. He was a sneaky fellow. I knew he would find try to find some way to get Caleb. I wasn’t having it though. If he slept with Caleb, then Ellen would find out and I’d be ridiculed even more by my family.

“Emilio, are you ready?” I said as I pulled my pants on.

“Yes Will,” he replied as he buckled his belt. “I’m ready. What’s the plan for today anyways?”

“They’re having a pre-wedding brunch so everyone can get to know each other before the wedding tomorrow,” I mumbled casually. There was a bachelor party this evening but I didn’t think I was going so I didn’t mention it to Emilio at all. I didn’t want him getting any ideas. He would just see it as an opportunity to flirt with Caleb.

“Alright, let’s get this party started,” Emilio joked as he and I walked out the room. The wedding brunch was at the parents of the groom’s house, so I had to drive there. Turned out the groom came from a wealthy family; Of course, Ellen had found a wealthy bachelor to marry. Emilio was even impressed. I hadn’t met the groom yet but he was probably an asshole especially if he was marrying Ellen.

I parked my car on the side, as we walked into the magnificent house. There were a ton of people there that I didn’t know or had even seen before. I just assumed that they were relatives of the groom.

I turned around to see if Emilio was beside me but I had lost him already. I took a deep breath as I glanced around. He was nowhere in sight. God, he moved fast. I knew I should have grabbed his hand. He was going to be in big trouble, when I find him.

I sighed as I caught sight of a bar. Please let there be alcoholic drinks. Oh lord – please. I walked straight towards the bartender.

“Do you have anything alcoholic?” I asked curiously.

“Sorry I’m only supposed to serve non- alcoholic drinks,” he apologized. “I can get you a Shirley temple.”

“No thanks,” I sighed.

“Alcohol so early in the morning? My kind of guy,” a gentleman said besides me. I glanced up to see a very attractive guy who could pull off a suit like he was on a runway. He grinned at me, dimples appearing on his face. I swallowed hard as his hazel greens fixated on mine.

“If only I could get something alcoholic,” I chuckled. “I’m Will and you are?”

“Robbie,” he said shaking my hand. “You must be related to the bride?”

“Yeah I’m Ellen’s stepbrother,” I said casually.

“Cool,” he replied. “I’m the brother of the groom.”

“I have yet to have met this groom,” I muttered casually. “But I did meet your brother, Caleb.”

“Oh you haven’t met Ryan? He’s around here somewhere,” Robbie said. “Caleb and Ryan are my half-brothers actually. We all have different mothers. My father’s kind of a sleaze.”

“Wow,” I laughed. “Sounds like someone I know.”

“So are you going to the bachelor party tonight?” he asked curiously.

“I don’t know bachelor parties aren’t really my thing,” I admitted. “I’m not into strip clubs or anything like that.”

“There not my thing either,” Robbie replied. “How about we can keep each other company?”
