When we turned around to find the source of the yelling we saw Guardian. What was he doing here? “Wait. Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Blue Sparrow?”

“At least he got your name right.” Dick teased Wally was he elbowed him. I gave them a look that said, ‘Not now.’

I turned back to Guardian and said, “I know you. Guardian, a hero.”

“I do my best.” He replied as he stood tall.

“Then what are you doing here?” Kaldur asked.

Guardian chuckled slightly. “I think that’s my question, kids. I’m chief of security. You’re trespassing, but we can call the League, figure this out.”

“You think the League’s gonna approve of you breeding weapons?” I asked.

“Weapons? What are you—” He was cut off as he held his head in pain, as if he were trying to fight something. When he looked back up at us he glared, no recognition in his eyes whatsoever. “Take them down hard! No mercy!”

A bunch of genomorphs came out of their pods and started to attack us. Dick dropped a smoke pellet and disappeared, leaving me, Kaldur, and Wally to fend for ourselves. As we held off the genomorphs, we saw Dick hacking the elevator and we followed. We almost didn’t make it, but Kaldur closed the doors just in time so the genomorphs couldn’t get to us.

“Way to be a team player Rob!” Wally said annoyed.

“Weren’t you right behind me?” He asked nonchalantly. Kaldur looked at where the elevator was taking us.

“We’re going down?” He asked in disbelief.

“Dude, out is up.” Wally said to Dick.

“Excuse me?” Dick asked offended. “Project Kr; it’s down on sub-level 52.”

“That’s enough! Both of you!” I exclaimed as I stepped in between them. I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. “This is out of control.” I walked over to the far side of the elevator and leaned against the wall. “Maybe—maybe we should contact the League.”

The elevator slowly stopped as I said that. “We’re already here.” Dick said. we all got out of the elevator and we came up to 2 hallways.

    I sighed annoyed. “Which way?”

“Yeah.” Dick said trying to lighten the mood. “Bizarre-looking hallway 1, or bizarre-looking hallway 2?”

“Halt!” We looked towards hallway 1 and saw the creature I saw in the elevator. It telekinetically threw barrels at us, but we swiftly dodged them before running down the second hallway. As we ran we saw a door labeled ‘Project Kr’ and noticed it was closing. Wally ran ahead and placed a triangular looking object between the sliding doors to keep it from closing.

“Hurry!” He yelled back towards us. We all made it inside and Kaldur kicked the object between the doors at the genomorphs coming at us.

“I disabled the door.” Dick said. “We’re safe.”

“We’re trapped.” Kaldur corrected. I looked towards the center of the room, and what I saw shocked me.

“Uh, guys.” I said, grabbing their attention. “You’ll want to see this.” As they looked in my direction they saw what I did; a boy around 16 years old in a pod with a red Superman symbol on the chest of his completely white suit. In big red letters on the front of his pod said “Kr.”

“Woah!” Wally said. “Big ‘K’, little ‘r’, the atomic symbol for Krypton. Clone?”

“Robin, hack.” I commanded. He wasted no time as he connected his computer gauntlet to the computer system.

“Weapon designation Superboy,” Dick began as he went through the information. “A clone force-grown in…16 weeks?! From DNA required from Superman.”

    “Stolen form Superman.” Kaldur said.

“No way the big guy knows about this.” Wally added.

“Solar suit allows him to absorb yellow sun radiation 24/7.” Dick continued.

“And these creatures?” I asked referring to the one above Superboy’s pod.

“Genomorph gnomes, telepathic, force-feeding him an education.” Dick answered.

“And we can guess what else.” Wally said, still looking at the boy.” They’re making a slave out of, well, Superman’s son.”

“Now we contact the League.” I said. We all tried to get into contact with our mentors with no luck.

    “No signal.” Dick said.

“We’re in too deep, literally.” Wally said. There was silence for a moment before he spoke up again. “This is wrong.”

“He’s right.” Kaldur agreed. “We can’t leave him like this. Set him free.”

Dick looked to me for confirmation. I nodded. “Do it.”

He didn’t need to be told twice as he opened Superboy’s pod. The boy eventually opened his eyes and after a few moments he lunged at Kaldur, knocking him over. Superboy started punching him in the face until Wally and Dick tried to pry him off.

“Woah! Hang on, Supey.” Wally said, trying to calm the boy down. It didn’t work and he punched Wally, sending him into a glass cylinder knocking him out. Dick released a smoke pellet into the boy’s face causing him to stumble towards me. I put him into a headlock.

“You need to calm down.” I said into his ear. “We’re trying to help you.”

He grabbed me and threw me into the computer system that controlled his pod. I rolled over and groaned in pain. Superboy picked me up by my neck and started choking me, putting black spots in my vision. The last thing I saw was Superboy standing on my brother’s chest.

Sorry for the delay everyone.
