"Come come, welcome to the shop for the depressed!
Here you find where you'll find nowhere else
We grant you everything from the tallest cliff to the smallest fish
You have three wishes, what shall you purchase?"

"I have only one wish," I said,
"I wish to be happy and undead
I wish to feel something
But I see no glimmer of joy, so what may I buy instead?"

"Deerie me, child, I see how dark your eyes are
You spend your nights alone, staring at stars
Your complexion is sour and lips tarred
Your hair loose and under those sleeves, scarred.

"But in this shop, we have rules, may I explain
You may not wish for immortality nor death or pain
You may not wish for a cure for your insanity
And finally, you may not wish for thee to be happy."

"I wish help for my disease
To be able to sing, laugh and be free
To love and live in a world of glee
Please, will you help me?"

"May I recommend these dashing bluebirds?
They fly and sing songs that none have heard
Or a holy book to guide you, for life to be explored
Then there is this beautiful pair, made of ice and unimpaired"

"How will that make me happy?"
"Child, can you see?

"This is not for your happiness,
but for our business,
You live life with sadness
Because it has been cruel and merciless

It's not about to help that which you seek
It's about the things you see
Is it all pain and suffering, Azumi?
It's about beauty

These birds are companions by your side
Both day and night
This book, to bring back your life
It is a sign
And this ice sculpture is to remind you that there is beauty on the outside
Of the world incaged with ice"

"I see,
I would like to buy these,
for what must I trade, for me to believe
That I can live my life with ease?"

"Just one thing, dear,
that we all share
You may keep all your wishes
traded by your sadness."
