{First Chapter, wish me luck!!}

-It was a beautiful, crisp, sunny morning. Flowers dotted the spring grass, birds chirped in nearby trees, and a rushed, but happy girl about 15 years old was getting ready for school. She was excitedly talking to her older sibling, Star, while eating breakfast.-

It was the first day of UA Highschool, the most esteemed school for aspiring heroes, and you, Y/N L/N, made it in, despite the extremely low acceptance rate.

You were rambling about something to your sibling, not really paying attention to what you were saying, you were more focused on the fact that you actually passed the entrance exam. You finished your breakfast and hurried upstairs to get ready, while wondering about all the cool quirks that you would see, and thinking about all the new moves you could show Mina Ashido, your best friend. You had practiced all throughout summer, and found new ways to use your quirk in combat.

You threw on the school uniform and started to do your hair and makeup. Your hair was pretty simple, you just pulled it into a half ponytail with a braid and went on to makeup. You didn't want it to be too flamboyant on the first day, so you just did a simple look, which happened to be little bit of eyeshadow (the typical peachy look wasn't really visible on your dark skin, so you opted instead for the same style but with dark blue), winged eyeliner, bright highlights in the corner of your eyes, mascara (obviously), and gold highlights on your cheekbones, nose etc.

A final look in the mirror finished off your morning routine. You were glad that the eyeliner hadn't fought with you this morning. Deciding you looked amazing you grabbed your backpack and went downstairs to put on your shoes.

Once you did, you were about to walk out the door when your dad stopped you.
"Do you have everything?" he asked with a worried smile, continuing quickly, "Do you have your bracelet? What about your lucky pen? Do you ha-"
"Dad, chill, I'll be ok" you said with a laugh, cutting him off before he went on a tangent that would last forever. "I have Gramma's bracelet, and my lucky pen is in my backpack. I promise I'll be fine, but you have to promise not to worry so much, ok?"
Your dad took a deep breath. "Ok. I love you! Don't wait for me to stop being emotional, go to the bus stop"
"Ok, Dad" you turned and walked out the door.
"Wait!"
You laughed again saying, "what is it, Dad?"
A tear of pride ran down your fathers face as he said "Goodbye hug?"
You said "Gosh, it's like I'm never coming home again!" But, you hugged him anyway. He was a big guy, and he was strong, but he was also really emotional, and you loved him for it.
"Ok, now I'm going for real this time before I'm late!"

You ran off, waving goodbye as you went. It wasn't long before you were around Mina's house, and you could walk to the bus stop together. You saw her waiting at the end of the street, leaning on a lamppost and looking at her phone. She had two skateboards with her, one was hers, the other was one she got for you over the summer so that you could skate together. She looked pretty as always, and when she looked up from her phone, she smiled and waved, trying to seem cool, but it was obvious that she was as excited as you were. You ran up to her, saying, "You ready to go?"
"Always have been" she replied, handing you your skateboard.

You both got a running start, and hopped onto your boards, skating the rest of the way to the bus stop. As you went, you talked excitedly about your new school, wondering what the classes and teachers would be like. You hadn't thought much about the teachers over the summer, but Mina had heard a rumor that the Number 1 Hero, All Might would be teaching you.
"No way. There's no way he would just put all his hero duties on hold just to teach a bunch of 14 year olds!" You didn't believe that the top hero in all of Japan would come down from whatever life of luxury he lived to teach a bunch of people less than half his age how to do math or something. "Does he even have a teaching license?" You thought to yourself.
"It's true! He's still working as a hero though, I guess he figured he can't stop doing that completely, being the Number 1 and all." Mina said it like it was the most normal thing in the world to hear that the Number 1, the Top Hero, the man that was practically a god, was coming down to your school to teach.
"What is he even teaching? Why is he teaching? You can't just say something like that and then not expect to give me all the details!" You gestured wildly, and nearly fell off your skateboard, but you caught yourself.
Once she quit laughing, Mina responded. "I heard he was doing it so that there were more Pro Heroes teaching kids how to save people. He's going to be teaching Foundational Hero Studies, so don't worry about if he's teaching science or something."
The mental image of All Might sitting at a table with a bunch of test tubes, telling you things about chemical formulas made you laugh so hard you had to grab on to Mina so you didn't fall again.
