{Hey Readers! Sorry this took so long to get out, I've been really stressed out and busy lately because of family issues. I hope you don't mind if this ends up being really long to make up for it taking such a long time to publish. Also, sorry if you really like Hagakure, because you're there in place of her.}
You were still reeling from the absence of rude remarks so much that you had aced most of the rest of the tests before you remembered you were going to check on the green haired kid from earlier.
He looked even more scared then when you first suspected he was having a panic attack, and since you were moving back outside to do the ball throw you had a bit of time to go up to him and ask if he was ok.
It was Uraraka's turn first, and you knew what would happen because of her quirk, so it was the perfect opportunity to talk to him. You tapped him on the shoulder and smiled kindly. You had been there before, so you wanted to make sure he didn't do to badly because he was freaking out. He jumped, and flinched like he was about to be hit, but when he saw that it was you he relaxed just a bit, but not much and said "H- Hey, what's up?"
"I noticed you looked kind of freaked out, so I wanted to make sure you were ok."
"Oh, I- I'm fine."
"Are you sure? If you're nervous about getting expelled, don't be. It was probably just a lie to get us to work harder."
"Really? He seemed pretty adamant about it."
"Yeah, and even if it wasn't a lie, you got into UA, didn't you? That's gotta count for something! I mean, you have to be strong to get through the entrance exams, don't you think?"
He relaxed a lot at that and said "Yeah! You're right."
"There you go! Now give it everything you've got!" You smiled, glad to help.
"O- Oh, by the way, I'm Izuku Midoriya, and I was really impressed with the butterflies you made earlier."
"I'm Y/N L/N, and thanks! That kinda thing has always happened when I dissipate what I make with my quirk. I don't think it has any effect on the rest of my quirk though."
"You'll have to tell me more about your quirk later when I have my notebook! Do you just make poles from the ground, or is there more to it?" He got really exited, and you could already tell that he was as obsessed with analysis as you were.
"I'll absolutely tell you more later, but right now we need to focus on what's going on in class!"He nodded and Mr. Aizawa called out his name for the ball throw.
He wound up and threw the ball, and it went... 46 meters? You hadn't seen his quirk yet, but surely he hadn't been using it then. It was anticlimactic to say the least. Midoriya looked up in shock. He started to mumble something before Mr. Aizawa interrupted him.
"I erased your quirk. It defies reason. How did someone like you even get into this academy?" Mr. Aizawa's hair was floating, and his eyes were glowing red. His scarf was floating along with his hair, revealing bright yellow goggles.
"You erased my quirk?! Wait a minute, you're the Erasing Hero, Eraserhead!"
Aizawa ignored his outburst, (apparently he was already used to the outbursts this class had), and continued his seemingly uncalled-for lecture, "From what I've observed, you can't reign in your quirk's power, meaning you can't use it efficiently at all. Did you think someone would step in and save you after you broke yourself again?" You looked to Mina and Kirishima to see if they knew what he was talking about. They both shook their heads.
"N- No, I- I didn't, I just-"
Mr. Aizawa's scarf floated and wrapped around him.
"Whatever hopes you may have had about your rescue should be given up on, because as you can see, nobody here is in a position to come to your aid." Mr. Aizawa continued to talk to him until his hair floated back down.Midoriya looked shaken, but determined as he picked up the ball and wound up to throw it again. When he threw it, it shot into the air and flew super far away, but upon taking a closer look at him you could see that his pointer finger was broken. "Is he ok?!" you wondered to yourself.
