Ok ok, I know. "What title is this?" But it was inspired by this sound on TikTok (above is the sound). I am a bad writer so please deal with me. Any who STORY-TIME!

Marinette was having a bad day. Well bad is an understatement, because she just got her heartbroken from the Adrien Agrest. He probably didn't intentionally try to hurt her, she thought as an excuse, he had just talking to Kagami and then she kissed him.

Marinette was planning to tell him her feelings that day but when she walked up to him, full of confidence; Kagami saw her, said goodbye, kissed his cheek, and gave her classic big smile. Adrien saw his dearest, and first, friend (Adrien!! Why you so blind! I hate the author... oh wait, I'm the author. Carry on!) out of the corner of his eye. His face lit up and he smiled. (Seriously though. Adrien is blinder then Kagamis mom) He wanted to go say hi to Marinette, but before he could Kagami kissed him goodbye and Marinette ran of crying.

He wondered what was wrong with his princess, and that thought gave him an idea. He might not be able to talk to her as Adrien, she would get too scared, but he would have to wait to see her. He personally had a lot of confidence that day and was planning to tell Ladybug his feelings. He loved her more than anything in this Earth and wanted nothing more than her to reciprocate his feelings. He called his lady (pretend they are able to talk without being transformed) and asked if they could do patrol early, because he had something really important to tell her. She agreed, obviously, and transformed. She hopped in the wind, letting it dry her tears. Chat didn't notice she had been crying, partially because of his extreme confidence boost and partially because the wind made it barely visible. Ladybug was glad her cheesy partner didn't notice; she wasn't in the mood to talk right now and it might give away her secret identity. Chat Noir realized how hard this was going to be and took a deep breath. He closed his eyes and quickly said "Ladybug, I- I- I love you." He waited for a few seconds before looking back up and meeting her sky blue eyes. She seemed hesitant and almost... unsure? He was unprepared for the answered that she followed with. Ladybug replied with "Sorry chat, I don't know if I'm ready for a relationship yet. I can't be in love with you." Tears danced at the edges of his eyes and threatened to fall any moment. He turned around sharply and stated in the most monotone voice "Its ok M'Lady. Why would you ever love a stupid sidekick like me. I'm just a dumb alley cat" and with that he hopped away through his blurry vision. He was thankful it was still day, as he could see better with the light.

time skip 'cause why not (it's now 8pm)

Chat noir was hopping around Paris because he was trying to calm his racing mind. He slid his back down the walls and something caught his eye. A girl was on her balcony, specially Marinette. How could he have forgotten! He wasn't the only sad person today and she probably needed someone to talk to. He wiped off his eyes and tried to push his own feelings away, even for just five minutes. He hopped over to her and realized that she was crying. She didn't see him perch on the rail of her balcony.

"Princess?" he softly called to her. She looked up startled and tried to wipe away her tears but failed, bursting out crying again. "Hey hey, it's okay. What's wrong?" he said in the most comforting tone he could muster and rubbed her back soothingly. She sniffed and lifted her eyes to meet his. He saw the pain that had been laced in her beautiful bluebell eyes. (The worst part about writing this is knowing I wrote "eyes" three times now and can't change it because eye has no synonyms) He wiped off a stray tear and she started to speak "It was because of Adrien, Adrien Agrest."

"What did he do" Chat Noir asked nonchalantly, as if he didn't have a clue who his secret identity was. "He... He likes another girl. He doesn't like me..... But who would blame him, right! I'm just a nobody who can't say her feelings to the boy she loves....." Marinette trailed off. A few tears welled up in her eyes and started to fall, she curled her knees into herself and gave a few silent shaky sobs. He saw his heartbroken princess and his heart cracked in two knowing he caused it. He sat down beside her and pulled her closer. He put her on his lap (back off perverts, they're 15 in this story. They're minors!) and she snuggled into him. It was particularly cold out that day and had a nice breeze. She loved the feeling of his warmth and he saw how cold she probably was, wrapping his arms around her to hopefully get her to warm up. She gave a quiet thank you and he smiled.

"So why are you sad?" she questioned, looking up at him. (She actually didn't know, she thought that Ladybugs words didn't hurt him) "Me sad? No I'm fine" Chat replied, faking a smile. Marinette was unconvinced and laid her head back on his chest, "If you don't want to talk that's fine, but I can tell when my kitten is sad. I know that's a fake smile chaton." To say the least he was shocked. She wasn't forcing him to tell her and she even noticed his fake smile. Even his father didn't notice that. He didn't realize that he was crying until Marinette reached up her hand and wiped his tears. "It's okay chaton, you're gonna be okay. I'm here no matter what." He gently cuddled Marinette closer to him and smiled. A real smile. "Thanks princess, for everything. I was sad because Ladybug rejected me today....." he replied. Marinette felt horrible, she looked up and saw her kitty's depressed state and got an idea. She hopped off her kitty's lap and walked into to her room closing her trap door softly behind her. Chat noir felt her leave and the only brightness he kept in his eyes from her presence faded. He felt absolutely alone, and wondered if he should leave. He stayed for a little bit longer, trembling because he thought Marinette hated him. He didn't notice Marinette come back until he heard his princess call his name and drape a soft blanket over him. "I... figured you were cold" she said with a soft smile. All of a sudden she lifted a ladybug doll and said in a squeaky voice "Sorry I was a jerk. I was mean and you didn't deserve it. You may not have me but now you have your princess. She can help you heal" she put the doll aside after saying that and snuggled comfortably into him, she said (in her voice) "I'm always here for you chaton, I always will be" His heart swelled at the affection she was showing him, the one who broke her heart, he didn't deserve this. He wrapped his arms around her and draped his tail over her, a low rumbling noise emitted from his chest and he immediately covered his mouth. He was self conscious about his purring because whenever he purred people thought it was weird.

Marinette yawned when he started purring, feelings of relaxation washing over her like a tidal wave. She felt him stop and looked up. She drowsily said "It was cute, why'd you stop?" He looked down at her and realized how tired she was. "How about you go inside and rest. I'll leave." He got up and slowly walked to the railing when he felt a sharp tug on his tail. He turned back and Marinette looked away sheepishly. "Stay?" she questioned, a begging tone in her voice. He of course wanted to get out of the cold but he also wanted to be there for his princess. His answer was a undoubted "of course", and he followed her in. He took in the wonderful scent of vanilla and loved it. It made the room feel cozy and welcoming, unlike home.... no, the house. "I'll sleep here princess" he said, curling up on the rug. Of course he wants to hold her and make sure nothing happened to her the whole night but he didn't want to do anything to make her uncomfortable. She whimpered "Can your princess get snuggled? Your warm." she sleepily replied. He happily obliged, scooping up his princess into his arms and laying her on him. "Are you comfortable princess?" he asked. She was exhausted and loved the feeling of being pressed up against him. She hummed a yes in response, and he smiled. He started purring and she let out a happy sigh, letting her exhaustion take over and fluttering her eyes closed and snuggling into him more. He once again draped his tail over her and wrapped her in his arms. They both fell asleep, happy just being with each other. "Goodnight princess" "Sweet dreams minou"
