Have You Missed Me?

The anxiety kicks in. It's time to break Dream out of jail.

Lori left for George's house early in the morning. It was a few days after she's talked to George about the whole thing.

"So George, just act normal and if me or Dream makes any noises, just pretend it was you."

"Got it."

They start to walk over to the prison whenever they see Wilbur close by.

"Crouch so Wilbur doesn't see you." Lori nods and they both crouch and try to hide.

Nobody could know they were coming to the prison. Not yet at least, they could definitely think something is up.

She's finally able to drink an invisibility potion whenever they're at the entrance of the prison. "Hello, Sam. I'm here to visit Dream." Sam looked up at him with a little bit of shock, making George look visibly nervous. Luckily Sam doesn't catch that.

"Wow, two visitors in two days. First Lori and now you? I didn't know Dream had that many friends." George chuckled at that a bit and landed his eyes to the floor.

George signed all the papers that Lori had to sign the day before. He quickly handed them back. You could tell he was nervous for this too. She was surprised that he went through with this.

Six minutes and twenty-seven seconds left of this potion, Lori thought. She's going to have to sneak the potion every eight minutes without getting caught. The thing is, the prison takes forever to go through. Lori repeatedly checked how much time she had left while being careful not to stray behind George.

George is forced to take a potion of fire resistance. Lori watches him go through the whole process she did the day prior. Five minutes and forty-two seconds.

Sam puts George on half a heart. Three minutes and fifteen seconds. Time seems to go very fast in here. Way too fast.

She gets even more nervous as the seconds pass by. What if Sam hears the potion? He's been tricked before, he won't be tricked again.

They walk through a large corridor. Fifty-four seconds. Lori's heart races. She decides to try and drink another potion while they're in the large corridor.

She stands behind a stream of water in a corner of the room and drinks. Sam doesn't seem to notice. Phew.

Now she has way more time. She quickly follows Sam and George into the next room. George has to go through some sort of water path. Lori follows. She notices that he had to drink a potion for him to not drown. Oh no.

She swims as fast as humanly possible. She's almost out of breath when she sees the end. She rushes to the very end and almost chokes. The worst part was holding that in, she desperately needed to cough but she couldn't blow her cover.

She just took deep breaths, in and out as quiet as possible. She still had a lot of anxiety of course.

George made it through the path very easily. She regretted being the person invisible. She should've made George do all of this. Lori could've easily been the person going through all of it again. But then it would be pretty suspicious to go two times in a single week.

They continued going through the prison. Lori's still very nervous but still goes on with the plan. To get her life back.

They go through a few more rooms until they enter the room leading to Dream's cell. George looked quite nervous still. But it wasn't even about breaking him out of jail, it was the fact that he hasn't seen Dream in a long time and now he's finally visiting with him.

Sam pulls a lever so that the lava can go down. George gulps. They see Dream's name-tag. Now it's time for the plan.

Sam leaves them so George can talk to Dream alone. Before he leaves, he pulls a lever for the bridge so he can get across. Lori follows George through and they both get into Dream's cell.

George and Dream stare at each other. Then a smile appears on George's face as Dream pulls him in for a hug. "I've missed you so much, Dream." Their hug felt long although it only lasted a few seconds.

"Lori, are you here?" Dream calls for her.

"Yes, I have some invisibility potions for you." She pulls them out of her inventory, still invisible so Dream wasn't even facing her way at first.

"Okay good. Now time for my part of the plan," Dream goes to his bed at the corner of the room and makes some lumps with his pillows. It starts to look like a body.

"Just tell Sam I fell asleep right when you were leaving."

"Got it. Now, we have to make it look like we've visited a little bit. So let's stay in here together for like twenty minutes and then go out." George looks at Dream and smiles.

Lori's invisibility potion was about to ware off but it was fine. She just let herself become visible again, and when George would say he was ready to leave then she would drink another potion.

They were planning a bit more in depth. Finding ways to go and where the closest nether fortress was.

Finally, it's been twenty minutes and now it's time to sneak past Sam again. Lori and Dream both drank a potion. They each had five left so they were good for awhile.

George typed in the chat: I'm ready Sam, please let me out.

Sam then let George out of Dream's cell. "Dream went to sleep right when I was leaving."

"Ah," Sam didn't pay any mind to it. Lori was relieved.

Then they went through the prison one more time until they finally reached the end. It wasn't as bad this time since George didn't need to drink potions and go through the awful paths.

Dream was struggling. He ended up drinking the potions too frequently and were about to run out. Lori was close to running out too.

They just got to the entrance to the prison whenever Dream suddenly appeared in front of Sam.

Oh shit.
