The three of them book it, not even thinking about where they're going. They just run as fast as they can.
"Hey! This way," Dream takes lead and heads towards where spawn is. Luckily, nobody could catch up to them so they were safe for now.
"What the hell are we gonna do now?" Lori was shaking. She just had to have severe anxiety and it really wasn't helping her at the moment.
"I knew we should've brought more potions!" George was also panicking.
"You guys, relax. Nobody's chasing us right now, and we have time to sort things out." Dream always seemed to be quite calm. At least one of them knew how to keep calm even through situations like this.
"So what do we do for right now?" Asked Lori.
"Well, we can wait out for a couple of days so they're not head over heels trying to find us. They'd expect us to run far away. We can just go to the nether a few days later."
George and Lori agreed with the plan. Nobody even knew what they were doing, they literally have no clue they're trying to beat the game. All anyone knows is that Dream's on the loose and now the three of them are known as fugitives.
They decided to go hunting for food since they were almost all out. Lori was definitely scared to have to actually kill something, but she kept reminding herself it was just Minecraft.
"I swear, this seems too goddamn realistic," Lori mutters to herself.
"What'd you say?" George appeared behind her.
"Oh, nothing. Just talking to myself."
She looked down at her block hands. She was a lot more used to them now. She reckons it's been about a week since she's been there. She hasn't really kept track.
They kill as much animals as possible and then go deeper into the woods. "Let's make beds real quick," Dream starts to craft his own bed.
It's been about a week here and she hasn't even crafted yet. Well, here goes nothing.
She opens the crafting table and tries crafting a bed. Hmm, not hard at all. Just like playing on a computer.
They all make beds right when the sun went down and then they slept. It was a long night of twisting and turning for the three of them. Someone could easily come out of nowhere and stab them. And Lori didn't want to know what that felt like, even if it was a video game.
To tell the truth, they were all frightened. All of them were on edge the whole time. But they made it through the night, not getting much sleep but at least they weren't stabbed to death like they all thought would happen.
They put their beds in their inventories and traveled some more. Not very far though, they didn't want to stray too far away from humanity.
One full day passed while they were on the run.
Luckily, Dream crafted a furnace and cooked some steak using wood he chopped down instead of coal to heat it up.
They fell asleep again. This night was much easier for all three of them. They didn't worry as much, and they got much more sleep.
Woke up, started getting very bored. They missed society, even if society hated them at the moment.
Well, now George and Lori knew how Dream felt; literally only having Sam to talk to for months. And that was only sometimes whenever Sam visited just to check up and make sure he hasn't escaped or anything.
Two days passed.
George groaned. "How many more days do we have to sit out here?"
"Stop being so cranky, George. We'll wait four more days." Dream was carving a piece of wood and trying to stop George from going insane.
Then George started doing an impression of Tommy. "Oh, hi guys I'm Tommyinnit. Give me my discs you green bald-headed son of a bitch!" His accent got even stronger as he pretended to be Tommy.
"Look, I have two sticks. Also, how do I divorce my seven wives?" George has a stick in each hand, and then starts laughing. Dream and Lori start crying of laughter and then it dies down again.
Four days have passed by.
"Dream! I'm out of games to play." Lori and Dream learned that George acts like a toddler when he's bored.
"How about we play whoever talks first loses?" Dream's laying in bed, exhausted. He chopped down more trees and killed a lot of other animals that day.
"No, that's not a real game. I want to have actual fun."
"Shut up and go to sleep, George." Dream rolled over so he was facing a tree beside him.
Lori got so sick and tired of their bickering that she shoved her face in her pillow and tried her best to ignore them. They really do bicker like an old married couple, like the majority of the time.
They were all anticipating the day to leave the woods. But they knew they would just have to go to the nether and that would be very boring too.
"God, help me," Lori said under her breath.
five days passed.
They were all sick of the tree limbs that fell on them as they tried to sleep. They decided that on the sixth day they would go ahead and move closer to the rest of the SMP, even though it would be a huge risk. At this point they'd rather get caught than be stuck in the middle of the woods with absolutely nothing to do.
They woke up early that morning and walked closer to society. George made light conversation with Lori while Dream just ignored both of them and kept moving.
George ended up telling Lori about how Tommy destroyed his house a long time ago, which she already knew that but she couldn't say that.
George also told her about a bunch of other lore that happened a long time ago, since he was asleep through the majority of the recent ones.
"Okay, this is about as far as we're going today," Dream put his bed down as it was almost nighttime again.
Their beds went back on the ground and they all slept outside, hopefully for the last time for awhile at least.
