The Jewel

The Village

     The boat hit land. We pulled over, threw that heavy looking thing that's  sopposed to stop your boat from flowing away in the water. William came by and threw us some pieces of rags.
     "What?" I asked and he smirked. He blew a whistle with his two fingers and soon had everyone's attention.
     "We can't just go to the island and be like tell us what the jelwel is. We might have to spend a couple of days here. Everything is prepared, a home, food and clothes. Just follow my directions and we'll be good. Put these things on so we can blend. From now on until we leave the village we are villagers, who will cook,clean and so on. Now the ladies go down stairs to change and the men will be up here. UNDERSTAND!" he said eyeing Alace.
            We went downstairs and started to change.  My pants were baggy but they were easy to move in, and the small top I wore was tight but the sleaves were big to hide any weapon. I helped the princess and as soon as we went up she asked for perfume and the crew burst out laughing. William threw me a belt with two daggers, and a sword. I put it around my waist. He handed the same thing to Login and put one around himself. Then he handed the crew some daggers they put in thier shoes and all. Then we got off, and stared ahead with our mouths gapping.
     "Better be ready for the hike!" William said and leaded the way. Then the load scream came echoing threw my ears. I took out me sword turned around and brought yhe sword down on what had made the noise. It was Alace, wide eyed, and surprised. She looked up at me in pure horror. I bought yhe sword back and looked around. Everyone was staring at me with their mouths open.
       "Sorry Alace, are you okay?"i asked. As i bend down and looked at her. She sat thier stunned.
             "I twisted my ankle" she said. I stared at her amd smiled. Then burst out laughing. I couldn't help myself.
       "What's so funny?" Alace asked hitting me on the shoulder.
             "You screamed like you'd been attacked" I said. She laughed as well and after a while we stopped.
      "Can we get moving?"asked Login and then they headed out.
               "Get on." I tell Alace. And she gets on.
       "Your going to carry me all the way yo the village?" She asked. I nodded and we followed the rest of the crew. The forest was amazing. It was all green, but at every noise we moved our heads that way and stood still.
       "Ah!" Accidently fell out of my mouth. Only William and Login heard me. They looked at me giving me a questioning look.
           "What's wrong?" William asked with demand in his voice.
       "Nothing!" I said and we moved on.
              Soon we were at the village and it was beautiful. People minding their own business and trading and buying. It was like a place right out  paintings. It even, way back down and further away, had a waterfall. We went to the house we were standing and settled in. Login came by me and i couldn't meet his eyes. William was standing to my right and looked at us. Login pushed me down and made me sit. Then he pulled up my baggy pants and looked at my ankle. Then he looked me in my eyes.
        "Do you ever learn your lesson?" He asked and i looked away. Then he shounted"The first aid kit!" He put ontment on my sprained ankle, that was turning the color of purple, and then bandaged it.
     "Thanks" i mutter.
           "Next..." he began but was cut off from a screaming voice outside.         "The bandits are comming, thier comming!" Yelled a voice. I looked around and saw the looks of everyone. THE BANDITS ARE COMMING!
