The Clue

I was out in the open while everyone else was hidden somewhere in the trees. I waited and waited and kept on glancing at Alace. She looked okay. Login kept on throwing me glances but i didn't look in his direction. William was as calm as calm can be. Then i heard the voices.
"There boss, there she is!" The guy, who i had beaten yesterday, said. They came closer amd stood a couple feet away from me. I stared at the boss, right in the eyes. He was small, had a humped back, and piercing all over his face. He smiled, a crooked ugly smile. Showing his yellow and broken teeth.
"So, you are the one who dared to raise a voice against us!" The leader yelled. I risked a glance at William and he moved his head back and forth. Signaling me not to fight them until he gave me the signal. I gave a small nod. I looked back at the bandits.
"What are you going to do about it?" I ask with sarcasm in my voice. There leader caught my sarcasm. I risked a glance at Alace and then i heard the scream. I turned around and saw Alace in the leader's hands. She was trying so desperately to escape. My instincts getting the best of me i attacked the leader without William's signal. I side kicked him in the ribs and to my surprise i missed. I stumbled and almost fell over.
"Attack!" I heard William's shout. I attcked again and this timei got him. All around me i heard cry's and shouts. Swords clashing against each other and the sound of guns. The leader let do of Alace and she fell to the ground. He attacked me and i ducked. He missed, i did a 360 on the floor and and he fell to the ground. I saw all the bandits onthe floor.
"Ah!" I let out a gasp. Someone had stabbed me. The dagger was in the side of my stomache. Shit, it hurt like hell. I gripped it and held it for a while. I couldn't take it out. I looked around and everything was so blury. I couldn't make out who was who.
"Come on!" I heard a voice. They were running ahead of me.
"Alace!" I whispered.
"Raven you alright?" Asked... Login. I gave a small nod. He hadn't noticed the stab wound, yet.
"Ugh, i took the knife out and threw itto the floor. William had the leader in his grip. We borded the boat. Everyone was on. I looked around for Alace, she was on and safe. William held the leader by his neck and over the water.
"Give me the clue!" He said. The leader was a coward. If it was me i would have died rather then given him the clue. The wound burned. I was losing my balance. The leader, who's name i never got to know, gave him a scroll.
"What's on this?" Asked William.
"The master told me that, that was the symbol for the, for the Jewel! Please don't hurt me!" He said. Just as i was about to say something William dropped him in the sea.
"Nooooo!" I screamed and then everthing went black.
