Kirari pov
Art is one of my favorite hobbies. I admit I'm not the best at it, but I don't think it's terrible. I've definitely improved since middle school. The art class I'm currently taking is pretty advanced. And when I say that I mean you basically have to be Picasso to pass. Not to mention how much detail and effort they expect from you. Sorry Barbara I don't know how to blend oil pastels. This unit we're working on drawing, specifically people. Faces, eyes, mouth, nose, every feature that makes a person indistinguishable from others.
I think as I tap my pencil on my desk, my eyes scanning lazily over the papers littering my work space. Mostly doodles, sketches, awful attempts at a proportional face. "I need to find someone for this project before it's too late to get it started.." I mumble aloud. As though an angel heard me and answered my prayers, Sayaka walks into the room.
"President? I have some free time currently.. Is there anything you need me to do?" I excitedly jump up and place my hands gently on her shoulders, much to her surprise. "Yes! Thank goodness you're here." I sit her down in the chair in front of my desk and sit in my own. Her face slightly flushed, she asks. "Um, what exactly do you need?" I pick up my pencil and find a fresh blank page in my notebook. I pointed my pencil at her. "You. I need you. My assignment for art class is to find someone to draw and.." I look into her dark eyes. "I wanted to draw you."
She was pleasantly surprised. "Oh! Well that's no problem. And I appreciate it." She looked fondly at me with pink cheeks and her fingers fiddling in her lap. It was so cute I could barely suppress a smile. "Heh, yeah it's no problem.." I get to work on setting up some guidelines and a basic head shape. "Hmm, this shouldn't take maybe more than 30 minutes. The minimal requirement is a basic sketch. You don't need to do any line art or color, pretty lenient for this class if you ask me." She chuckled and stared at the floor.
"I never really thought you would like art. You seemed way to busy for it." I just kinda looked at her with a goofy grin. "A lot of people think I have no time for myself. The truth is that I may have too much time for myself. I'm rarely busy so every once in a while I'll pick up my pen and paper and draw whatever come to mind." Sayaka seemed to think it was adorable that I spend my time doing such childish things. She doesn't even know I still draw with crayons on the wall. Pisses Ririka off so bad.
My eyes revert back to my drawing from Sayaka, to her again. I hummed a little tune and tapped my foot. I glance at her with soft eyes and a smile. "Did I ever tell you how gorgeous you are?" Her ears turned red and she looked up into my eyes. She smiled wide and said, "No, you haven't." It was so heartwarming. I sketch her eyes and twirl my braided hair with my finger. This girl sitting in front of me is the most beautiful person and I'm lucky enough to draw her. I smile with glee and draw her hair.
"I remember when I first saw you. Your hair in braids with super cute glasses, reading." I pause for a moment. "You were so beautiful. Ririka made fun of me and said I had a 'gay panic'." I laugh and Sayaka giggled. "I mean, she wasn't wrong!" She blushed at that comment and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before saying, "I never understood why you went up to me and talked to specifically. There was so many other people there. People who probably had more use to you..."
I stop and looked at her confused. Then I smiled. "You don't understand. You had more potential than anyone else in this whole school. And," I lean forward and whisper, "I really love you." I smirk and add last touches to my sketch. Sayaka smiled and blushed madly. I don't think I've ever seen her this flustered. I could used to it...
"Hm. So really sorry if this came out.. bad." I shyly reveal my page, and she gasped cutely. She looked at it closely, taking in every soft pencil stroke and detail. At the bottom was signed my name with a heart. She looked as though she was on the verge of tears and smiled. "Oh, president. This is lovely! Thank you." I hug her tightly and she was lost in happiness. I place a soft kiss on her face and she kissed my lips.
I intertwined my fingers with hers on the desk and my other hand holding her cheek. When I pulled away she immediately wrapped her arms around me sort of clingy-like, and I loved it. "Sayaka, schools over now." As the final bell rang, I look over at the clock as it read 2:45 pm. We hear sounds of students rushing down the halls to get home and decide it'd be best to go home as well. I place all my things in my bag and wait for Sayaka to do the same.
We slip into the hallway with our hands wrapped around each other, my thumb stroking hers softly. Usually when we walk together, she's behind me. I'm glad we decided to change that. We hear a few whispers and "awws" as we walk past a few students left behind in the halls. Just to be extra I kissed Sayaka again and someone said, "You guys are adorable!" She blushed and I smiled widely. I stopped by the art classroom and turned in my sketch.
The teacher looked from my paper up at me and smiled. "Impressive as always, Kirari. It really does look like her." She glanced over to Sayaka standing next to me. "Thanks, I'll see you next week!"
As we made our way out to the front gates of the academy, I see my limo waiting for me. Ririka was leaning against it, clearly impatient. "Kirari! Finally you're here. Can we go home now?" I realize Sayaka's still here. "Um, Saya would you like to come over. It's the weekend so if you don't have any plans..." She nodded. "Sure that would be fine."
Time Skip
Me, Sayaka, and Ririka walk into the house. Ririka disappears into her room and me and Sayaka walk up to mine. My desk has a few unfinished paintings and drawings that I just don't want to complete. Sayaka takes a moment to look at them all in awe. "Wow, these are really good." I looked over at them blankly and shrug. "Yeah, they're okay. They're unfinished because I'm lazy and they're not even my best work, trust me."
"Well, unfinished or not, anything you make is your best work in my opinion." She kissed my cheek and hugged my arm. I smile. "I'm glad you think so." I tiredly lay down on my bed, signaling for Sayaka to do the same. She hesitated and carefully crawled into my arms. I nuzzled my nose into her head, receiving a soft giggle. "I'm exhausted. I had to edit my science project like four times before I got a decent grade on it. I hate my teacher." I laughed. "Yet you still have an A in that class." She scoffed. "Well duh it's easy to read a book and write stuff down. Kids pretend like it'll kill them."
I took her hands into mine and stared deeply into her eyes with love. "You're so smart." She blushed and smiled shyly. "With art, there isn't really any studying a book. You just kinda have to know how you're gonna do it. Because it's your art, your personality and style put into it." I leaned into her and our foreheads touched. "That's why I love it so much."
Sayaka loves when I talk about my interests. She's happy seeing me happy. She's fondly watching me as I ramble happily on about things, life, and just whatever comes to mind with a loving smile.
Before we knew it, it was 9 pm. We had been snuggling all day and now we were both very sleepy. As I drift off into slumber, I scan my room of paintings and find one I totally forgot about. It was of Sayaka. I'm not sure if she saw that one, but now I really wanna finish it and show her.
I hear soft snores from her. She looked so peaceful with her eyes closed and her lips parted slightly. I kissed her forehead and spoke, "Good night dear." She softly mumbled. I close my eyes and fall sound asleep next to the most beautiful girl ever.
A/N hehe
