There was a tense silence in the room, one that could be cut with a knife. But the tension didn't only appear between one cocky red hair and one sultry silver haired, but it seemed like the tension was splayed across the room, somehow intertwining all seven.
"First of all, I thought I made it more than clear that bringing random alien girls on the ship was out of question," Namjoon started, and instantly, a scoff left Jungkook's lips.
"Of course. Blame it all on me," Jungkook laughed sarcastically, and Taehyung's eyebrow twitched, but before he could speak, Namjoon did.
"We're blaming it on you because it's your goddamn fault. You brought not one, but two girls onto this ship? What did we tell you to do last time?" Namjoon snapped, and Jungkook glared at him.
"And on top of that, you left without telling Taehyung anything. He was worried sick looking for you-"
"Oh boo hoo, he'll get over it." Jungkook snapped, and Taehyung tensed his shoulders, looking at Jungkook, and then let out a small sigh.
"Y'know, Jungkook- I wish, instead of pretending like you're into me to hurt me or something, you would've just told me what I said bothered you that much. I said sorry a hundred times, and I understand if you're still mad- but being petty and taking revenge? C'mon, I don't think this is the time or place for that." Taehyung spoke articulately, and Jungkook's vein grew in seize because Taehyung looked so fucking calm.
"But this is the time and place to say none of you want to be friends with me, imply I'm a slut, call me a stupid fuckboy, all while talking behind my back to Jimin??" Jungkook snapped, and instantly all the boys looked at Taehyung.
"Taehyung.." Jin trailed, and Taehyung sighed. "I'm sorry, I-I was having a rough day. And I took it out on Jungkook."
"Those words were way too thought out for them to just be something you spewed out in anger. You got comfortable enough around all of us to show everyone how much of a dickhead you are." Jungkook snapped, and Taehyung looked away for a split second to regain his composure, and then looked back at Jungkook.
"I understand if you feel that way. You have all the right to be angry at me, I would be too. But I honestly didn't mean a word I said. I hope you know that." Taehyung said in his low voice, and Jungkook rolled his eyes, fingers digging into his palm.
"I mean.. is he wrong?" A voice said, and Jungkook and Taehyung turned to see Yoongi, slouched against the wall.
"Fucking two random girls just to piss Taehyung off sounds like stupid fuckboy behaviour to me."
Jungkook paused, eyebrows furrowing. Jimin choked a bit on his coffee, turning around quickly to cough, and Hoseok sighed. "Yoongi.."
"I- I only did that because Taehyung- he said all that mean shit to me and none of you are saying anything to him! How the fuck is this my fault??" Jungkook snapped, and Jin hummed.
"Okay, though what Kook did was bad- Tae, you shouldn't have said all that. Especially knowing Jungkook's younger-"
"That has nothing to do with anything! Stop fucking babying me I'm a grown ass adult." Jungkook snapped at Jin, who was literally defending him.
Jin paused, and then rolled his eyes. "Yeah, I don't give enough of a shit about this. I'm hungry, bye." Jin said, and then walked out of the control room, making sure his loud footsteps were heard.
"You two should talk it out. Please. The last thing we need, stuck on this forsaken spaceship, is tension and two people not talking. Just be mature, please." Namjoon said, and then gave a look to the rest of the boys, Hoseok, Yoongi, and Jimin, who nodded and followed him out.
