I'll save you Douma

Douma?!

'I need to get to town faster! At this rate he will die! I'll need to use total concentration!' Y/n thought and as she runs down the mountain. She ran faster.

"Grrrrrr......grrrhhrrgrrrr!" Douma was growling. 'Was that growling from douma?! I never heard him do that!..... it's very inhuman thing... is he a demon?' Y/n thought as douma started to move around y/n's back. 'If he keeps moving around we could fall down the cliff!' Y/n though. Douma moved to much that he made him and y/n fall down the mountain's small cliff.

Y/n landed on a pile of snow and thought 'thank god the snow broke my fall! If it didn't I would be a gonner! Nvm that but where's Douma-kun!'
Y/n stood up and looked around to find douma. Y/n spotted Douma and quickly ran to him. "Douma! Are you alright?! We need to get moving! We need to get you to the doctor! I'll carry you!" Y/n said as she see douma's face looking at the ground. Y/n put her hand on his shoulder. 'Somethings up with douma-kun....' y/n thought.

Douma's head quickly shouts up and started to growl again. He was about to bite y/n. Before he could bite her she got her axe and use the handle to protect herself. 'Douma has turned into a demon! What should I do?! Should I kill him so he can't hurt other humans? No I'll restrain him and calm him down!'y/n thought as she was pushed to the ground by douma.

"Douma! Fight this! You need to fight the urge! I'm sorry I wasn't here to protect you guys...! I'm sorry I wasn't their! Please......just fight! I'll save you Douma! But you need to hang on!"y/n said as she was starting to tear up a little but not that much.

Tears fell on y/n's cheek. Douma was crying.

Few seconds went by and his strength weakened. Y/n sensed a person coming and quickly pushed douma over. They both rolled to a tree and hitting it. 'Who's is this person? Are they a demon slayer?! This is bad! They will kill Douma!'Y/n thought as she hugged douma and rolled over to the left hitting a tree. So demon slayer wouldn't kill him. "Why are you protecting that thing? Do you know what it is?" The demon slayer said. Y/n paused for a moment and said "yes I do know what he is! He's My best friend who have turned into a demon! He hasn't killed or devoured anyone! But I will cure him! There must be a way!".

"No there is no cure. Hand the demon over and don't make this hard. I'll chop its head off so it won't devour anyone" The mysterious person said as douma tried getting out of y/n's grasped. "No way, I'm handing him over! He's my best friend! I will never betray him!" Y/n yelled and tried to cover douma. As y/n look down to see douma gone! Her eyes widen a little but she got her plain face back on. She looked up to see the person holding douma with one of their hands and holding a sword with the other. Y/n quickly got up. She started to to get a little mad by the demon slayer taking Douma and she yelled "give him back! He hasn't devoured anyone! Their was and another demon that killed my family! He's newly turned!" "Still he's a demon! He must be killed! He'll hurt or devour humans! I will kill him before he does that. All demons are that way." The demon slayer said in a angered tone.

Y/n didn't want to fight the person so she swung both of her arms and yelled "I will never let him eat anyone! I'll find a cure to turn him human! I will hunt down the person who killed my family! I'll save him!!!"

"Have I not told you before? Their is no cure. And him not devouring anyone is impossible!" The person yelled as he stabbed douma in the shoulder. Douma yelped and started to growl a little. He tried to break free but could not. "You call this creature your best friend?!"the demon slayer said. "Don't call him that! And don't stab hi!" Y/n yelled as she got the axe a started to run around the trees. She picked up rocks and started to throw them at the demon slayer. She stopped and ran towards the person. 'A straightforward attack how foolish!' The person thought. 'I'll just knock her out.'

As the demon slayer about to hit y/n, she dashed really fast over to the demon slayer's left and was about to hit him. The demon slayer slashed the axe out of her hand and knocked her out. 'How could this child move that fast?! Did she learn total concentration breathing...?! How could this small child learn this at a young age? I can tell she's different from anyone else' The demon slayer thought. Douma sees this and gets angered by this and got out of the person's grasped. He runs towards to y/n. 'Oh no! He'll her! I can't get there! He's to fast! He devour her for sure!' The demon slayer thought.

Douma stopped and shielded y/n from the demon slayer. He started to growl at the demon slayer. The demon slayer eyes widen and shocked of what he just saw. 'What's going on? He's protecting her? He's a demon who didn't devour any human flesh? Hes newly turned.......how.......He's different.' The demon slayer thought as douma ran straight forward to the him. Douma tried to scratched the demon slayer but he dodged. Douma jumped towards the tree and tries to attck from the air. The demon slayer knocks him out.

*Time skip*

Y/n's POV

I quickly shoot my eye open to see douma there laying next to me. I put my hand on his chest. I sigh in relief but I remembered the demon slayer. I sat up and looked around and I saw the demon slayer.

*No one POV*

"My name is tanaka Asuka. Call me asu. Come with me. I'll train you to become a demon slayer. But you need to find something to cover him while we walk to my house. I want to keep walking during the day." Asu said with a smile. "Thank you" Y/n said with a small smile and crawled over to Douma. "Douma! Wake up! I need your help burying my family. Please?" Y/n said. Douma was still sleeping. 'I'll carry him there. And I'll wake him up there' y/n thought.

"I'm taking Douma with me to bury my family. You can come along if you want, Asu." Y/n said. "Sure I'll come with." Asu said.
