Y/n and douma have been friends since the day y/n stepped in his temple. Douma have been staying at y/n house for some time. Because he felt lonely...
'I read the book 3 times and I allowed Asu to read it so she can help me' I thought as I walked to the training grounds. 'I didn't bring akemi today...hopefully Douma and he are hanging out' I thought as I see Asu waving at me.
"So you finally show up! Well let's get started!" Asu said as I nod.
*time skip after y/n learns sun breathing forms except 13. It takes 5 weeks*
"You are done with training. Now you have to go to final selection to see if your fit to be a demon slayer! Make me proud and come back alive!" Asu said with a happy smile. "Yeah. I will. When does it start?" I said. "In 1 week. It takes 4 days to get there. So you have to leave today" Asu said. I sighed and said "fine by me. Just let me say bye to Douma" I said. "Wait you have to wear one of my kimono and a mask!" Asu said as she grabs the kimono and the rest of the outfit. She handed it to me. "Change in another room than Douma. The room next door!" Asu said as I walked to the room. I opened the door and walked inside. Then I closed it. I started to put the outfit on.

After I put my outfit on I put my mask to the right side of my head. I went out of the room and went to the next room that Douma is in. I opened it and looked around the room. I see douma under the bed. I walked over to the bed and bent down. He crawled to me and I pat his head. "Douma. I'm leaving to go to the final selection. I will be back in a long time. So please don't worry over me. Just hang out with Asu. You like playing with her right? Don't worry I will be back!" I said as he was really sad after hearing this. I patted his head. Then I got up and picked up akemi. "Do you want to come with me to the final selection?" I ask my pet fox. The small red fox barked. "Okay" I said as I put akemi on my shoulders. I walked out the room and started to head to Asu. She looked at me and said "your taking the fox? You know it's dangerous." "Yeah I know but I will protect him. Plus it wouldn't be a bother" I said. "Well good luck!" Asu said as I hummed in response. I opened the door and ran out.
*time skip. At the final selection. Y/n is wearing the mask*
