If you want the answer—ask the question.
They were dismissed, Max never left her side. He pushed himself more, "So why not, Ms. Montgomery?"
"Why what?" Azriella responded and kept walking towards the door.
"We had a very strong connection, I can't see any reason for you to ditch the band. You see, the competition is still—"
"There you are Zach!" Azriella greeted as she opens the door.
"Hey." Max sighed and lifted his fist to bump Zach's.
"I'll get going then, see you on practice Dawn." He frigidly went away.
"You know each other?" They both asked as they stared at each other.
"Remind me to thank you later Payne." Azriella babbled and shrugged his shoulder out of her way.
Zach sprinted and caught her pace.
"What?" She glared.
As they both got their orders they went towards the empty table.
"Go seat with your friends or anyone else I want my personal space." Azriella groaned and took her earbuds out.
"I'm already am." He responded and grabbed the other pair of her earbuds.
Sparks Fly – Taylor Swift started playing.
His eyes landed on her phone and saw her playlist, "So, you are a swiftie huh?"
Azriella thought twice as he glanced at him, "Why do you care?"
"Why are you so pressed? Anyways, since we've been friends--"
"We're not." Azriella interrupted.
"How can you stay on being mean and grumpy?"
Azriella shifted her head from side to side, her plump and sweet lips curved into a little smirk.
She pushed the bridge of her glasses into her nose and brushed her hair with her hands as she glanced to the other table where Max and his friends are seating.
Her soul dropped back when Max glanced following her eyes.
"Hey!" Azriella snapped her finger on Zach's face.
"What?!" He responded.
"Stop starring." She said.
"I'm not." Zach looked away.
"I think you should be the one who needs to stop starring." He whispered and went back to sipping.
"What?" Azriella glared.
"What?" Zach leaned on his seat and crossed his arms while starring at her.
"Stop!" Azriella laughed.
"Why, are you getting nervous?" He pushed himself towards her.
"You don't" She scoffed.
"You sure about that?" and pushed a little more.
Until their faces are a couple an inch away.
"Will a kiss be enough to prove that you don't make me nervous?" Azriella smirked.
"Thick face." He swerved.
"I think I'm the one who makes you nervous." Azriella mocked her.
Zacharius rolled his eyes and bit the remaining part of his crossaint.
"Careful Payne, I'm starting to doubt that you like me." Azriella laughed.
"Some dreams don't come true Azriella." He rolled his eyes.
