Chapter 6

After getting done: Falling on my face
Shedding a few years and dropping a giant load of sweat bombs I think I've finally learn how to skate! To bad as soon as I got Back from the bathroom they made an announcement.
"Attention all skaters! We will be closing in five minutes! Please take off you're skates and return them to the skate shop. We will be closing in five minutes thank you for skating."

I groan and waddle back over to jasper who is already stripping of his skates. I sit next to him and do the same.

"I was just getting the hang of it!" I pout.

"No you weren't." he says with a smirk.

"Sure. You just know I was going to kick your butt in skating." I huff.
We take our skates to the skate shop and give them to a girl with pink hair. She takes them to the back and comes back with one of each shoe, and hands them to both of us.

"This was a Fantastic hang out jasper thanks so much." I say softly. Not really knowing if it was a hang out or a date, But of course it's a hang out right? I mean we just met and he would say if it's a date right? Right?!
"Your welcome...maybe we could do it again sometime. If you want?" He finishes tying his shoe and looks up at me.

"Absolutely!" I look back at him and we slowly walk out side, but kinda fast since we only have five minutes and before it closes and someone comes up to us to tell us to get out.

We say a quick 'goodbye' and I walk to the car already feeling slightly better about our friendship.

When I arrived home my mom was waiting for me in the kitchen with an irritated look on her face. Ha! Totally forgot about her...

"You know you said about two hours, right?" She speaks up after three minutes of staring at me.

"Yes" I mutter.

"And you know it's Ten o'clock right?" She asks again.

"Yes" I say again. I really just want to roll my eyes at how much she's asking me questions. Get to the point. Please.

"Ok so why are you out so late?"

"I lost track of time I was skating and my phone ran out of its apple juice so I kinda forgot"

"Well that's okay! No problem just tell me next time!" She blurts out.

"Really thanks mo-"

"No your grounded for two days" she gets all serious and points a finger to the stairs. My face just drops I want to fight back but I know it's not going to get me anywhere so I just start rolling my eyes and walk up the stairs leading the path of my room.

At least I still have my computer. I'm still seventeen so I can't move out just yet. But that will be a while I Love my mom most of the time so I'll have to stay for her sake, and because it's free food and a bed. I'm perfectly fine.
I quickly get dressed in my pjs and fall asleep after my head hits the pillow.
