The next day, I had somehow survived without my devices and I awoke with a hungry desire to get them back in my arms as soon as possible.
I ripped off the covers of my bed and left them hanging as I scrambled to my closet to grab a sweater, I swung open the door and shot off across the hall to my moms office. She always has had this thing with getting up early on the weekends and goes straight to her office even in a tank top and sweat pants. I knock on the glass doors, they have a curtain in front of them so anything behind the tuff glass is out of eye sight.
The curtains open automatically and I put my hand on the cold steel taking that as my sign to come in. When I see my mom there with fiery Red hair but in a neatly set side bun and a few stands of hair sticking out from the big bun.
"Good Morning mom!" I say.
"Good Morning, is there something you need?" She eyes my weirdly. She knows exactly what I want!
"My phone ,my computer ,and a little breakfast wouldn't hurt."
"Look over to your left and there should be ego waffles in the fridge." she doesn't look up from her computer for a split second after she finishes her sentence.
I look over to the left like she says and there I see my laptop and my phone. I grab both things in a hurry and run out the room closing the door quickly. I look back and the curtain is already closed, seeming to forget about breakfast I prop my laptop on my desk and turn on my phone. I scan my froggy case to see if it's dirty in anyway.
After getting close and personal with my devices again I get a message from Jasper.
J: I know you got your phone back txt me asap!
Me: I know! I'm so happy! *Claps hands like a seal*
J: XD XD your funny! So instead of being out late and getting you in trouble again (yes I know and I'm SO sorry D: never again) Lets go out on that frozen yogurt hang out.
That was a lot to read...
Me: it's fine it was only two missable days That's all.
J: So is that a yes?
Me: Absolutely. Meet me @ the park @ 4?
J: Perfect! Like you ;).
Me: shut up.
J: Just saying :I.
Excited wasn't even a word that could comprehend how happy I was.
