Different

Chapter 4

Waking up I do my regular routine, get dressed, makeup, get purse, go downstairs, bagel, tv, brush teeth, lip gloss, get bag and purse, and leave. since I got to school early for these stupid keys (I'm way to nice) I barely got any sleep so half of my classes are going out the window.

When I pull into the school parking lot I only see one car left A blue jeep, still in my car I ride over to the spot next to the car and get out.

Taking the keys out of my bag I jump like two times to get them on the roof, shortness. I roll my eyes just thinking about it I'm like 5'3 and I'm 17 c'mon!

Once I get the keys on the roof I'm about to get in my car when I mustang comes from the outer road connecting the school I can't help but look at who gets here early I mean I'm here but for a reason.

Two guys get out and one runs over to me, or the car and I try to duck or get back into the car but I can't help but look a little longer. He has dark hair, blue eyes, tall, and very muscular. He catches up to me and says "Hey" I respond with:
"Hi,i um found you're keys so I came early to bring them back"
" Thanks, I was about to go scuba diving for them in the lost and found" he chuckles at the end. Why does that sound like jiggle bells when my laugh sounds like a dying seal? Not fair.
"No problem" I give a smile

"See you around school" I add and get back in my car driving to the other side of the building to pick up some paper work.

NO! NO! NO! I forgot to ask his name! Why? Why? Why?! I pound my hand against my locker and shove my bag in, slamming it and walking to lunch.

I see Lindsey so I skip in front of everybody and stand with her I could see her blond hair from a mile away. she has a bob that frames her face perfectly and blur eyes, is a little taller then me, also has a sea of freckles.

I hook my arm through hers and she starts a conversation about her boyfriend J.C I kinda tune her out throwing in a couple "Hmms" and "yea" and "no he didn't" all probably going in places they shouldn't. After we get our lunch we walk over to a table on the left side of the room but in the middle.

Lindsey stops talking and looks behind me, i feel a tap on my shoulder and I almost elbow the person in the process.

I turn my head really slowly I must have looked weird but you would too! I turn around and see the same guy from this morning he has a big smile on his face one that could light up the room in seconds.

"Hey I i didn't get you're name earlier" he says.
"I'm Riley" I say with a half smile. I was kinda excited that he tracked me down just to find me.
"Ok, I'm Jasper" he takes my tiny hand in his and kisses that back of it.

I smile and turn back around to eat my lunch. He walks away going to one of his tables I guess and I finish my lunch in 5 minutes flat.

Walking out of school makes me so happy it's unbelievable, I feel freaking free! And I'm not doing my homework I'll catch up later.

When I get in my car there's a knock at my other window I was in the middle of buckling my self so I ended up punching the window. I see Jasper bending down waving like he's having a seizure standing up.

I roll the window down and yell to the other side. "Hey crazy what's up?" I yell. No scream.
"I just wanted to thank you again for giving my my keys" he yells back challengingly.
"And...do you want to hang out later like tomorrow or something" he says way more quietly. I'm jumping and waving my hands like I own the world right now in my head. Cause that's how

I feel but I smile a bright smile and say "Sure" we trade phone numbers and I wave while backing out and leaving the school parking lot.
