In the case that y'all are into DSMP or SBI fanfiction... GO READ PASSERINE (on Ao3). When I first heard of it I read the summery and I was like eh... not my usual cup of tea. Like, I live for angst, but not usually in a royal-ish history-ish genre. But then FREAKING SAD-IST just HAD to some out with Sunsprites Eulogy and after watching 10 seconds of it I figured I really had to read the fic first or I'd be disrespecting both the story and the animation, so.... I did. And I loved it and I cried a lot. Thing is, at the beginning of the story I didn't really understand the hype, just cuz I hadn't cried yet, but then...... I cried so much I could probably end all droughts ever. So. Give it a chance. Go read it. Even if you aren't into any of the fandom, you can probably enjoy it immensely. It's probably better than most books I've read, and has an extremely understandable storyline for somebody who hasn't watched any of the DSMP.
