Chapter 6

It has been a few days since I last hung out with Childe. Today was a rainy day, little ponds around the ground and gray skies felt like a blessing after a few long days of hot days. The feeling of cold raindrops on my face was so refreshing until the rain started to become heavier and I found a small cave to hide in for the time being, the rain sound relaxed me while I am trying to forget what happened with Childe a few days ago. "He's so childish-" 
I muttered to myself while waiting for the rain to stop.

It had finally stopped raining and I stood up from the ground, picked up my stuff, and started heading back to Liyue harbor. The fresh forests smell relaxed every part of my body and I started to feel relaxed after many days of hard work. I hadn't seen Childe today but somehow it made me have mixed feelings. At the same time, I could care less about him but something is worried about him.

After claiming my rewards I decided to go buy some food and head home. On my way home I noticed Childe on his own work but I didn't pay too much attention to it, I just left it as he is okay and that I should just go back home because my clothing wasn't fully dry yet.

I woke up with a heavy feeling and as soon as I stood up it felt almost impossible to stand. My legs were about to give up. It seems like my yesterday's errands and commissions gave me a slight fever. Nothing to worry about yet so I just decided to get myself to get medicine.

It took me half the strength to get dressed and head toward the building. My face felt hot and walking felt like gravity wanted to crush me. As soon as I stepped into the building I noticed a green-haired man with a white snake and a small child with a dead-like expression I greeted them and I learned that the man's name is Baizhu and the child's name is Qiqi. I got the medicine I needed even if the price almost made me faint, I would have to work my money back as soon as I recover.

I went back to my house and I took my time to recover properly so that I could get back to work as soon as possible. It took me a few days to get better but once I finally did I felt relieved as I finally took a step outside without feeling like dying. I spent the week doing my commissions as normal and keeping care of my home. The only thing missing from my normal routine was certain someone. It had been a while since I saw him, mostly due to the fact I had a fever. I didn't want to care for the man but slowly I did start to wonder where his whereabouts were. 

As quickly as the first week went by so did the next week. No sight of Childe, somehow I feel relieved but also concerned, I had grown used to his antics that now I feel rather lonely when I don't see his annoying prideful self or hear the flirtatious comments even if I do find them annoying every time.
