Dorinda's POV.

After we got our nails done, we went home the family came over and played in the arcade room and derrick came over and played basketball with the boys and so Deon as well and Nikki came over next to me and sat down.

"Hey my pregnant baby, how are you feeling today?." I asked her.

"I feel great even though the baby is kicking me even more." She replied as she rubbed her belly.

"Well that's Good you won't believe who I ran into at the gas station today." I told her as I sipped my towne club pop.

"Who, mom." She asked me.

"Raymond."I told her.

"And does Mia know?." She asked me.

"No, I don't plan on telling her because she is more happier than anything." I told her.

"You're right, i see jay over there trying to holler at Mia friends." She said to me.

And i looked at them to see them laughing and joking.

"Well he gotta try sometime soon, he can't just expect mommy and daddy to hold his hand 24/7." I said to her.

"You're right mommy, so me and deon was thinking about baby names we figured if it's a boy we will name him DJ if it's a girl will name her Kashmir what you think?." She asked me.

"I love it, I'm truly happy for y'all even though I was expecting a wedding but I'm still happy for you." I told her.

"Oh trust me mom, I know because he already did that before I got knocked up." She said to me while showing me the ring.

"What, when this happened Nikki? " I asked her

"Just before I found out I was pregnant." She said to me and I  gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"My babies is growing up." I said to myself but didn't Realize I said it outloud.

"Aww mommy don't cry." Nikki said to me.

"Girl these are tears of Joy, I'm just so happy." I said to her.

"Aww we are glad that you are happy." She said to me as deon called her over for something.

"Mrs. Cole, can I talk to you and your husband in the house for a minute please?." Derrick asked me.

"Sure let me go get him real quick we will meet you in his office." I told him.

I got Greg and told him Derrick wanted to talk about something we went inside the house went inside the office.

"Uh thanks for coming and talking to me Mr and Mrs. Cole." He said to us.

"Sure son, what's seem to be situation?." Greg asked him.

"Um i know we haven't been able to form a relationship with each other and I want to Make sure with the both of you I want to ask can I have your blessing and permission to marry your daughter?." He asked us.

Me and Greg looked at each other and I nodded.

"Yes you can, welcome to the family son." We said to him.

"Thank you so much mom and Dad this is going to be amazing." He told us.

"Okay have you pick out a ring yet or you need our help?." I asked him.

"I would love if I can get you, and her friends to help pick out the perfect ring tomorrow morning if that's okay?." He asked me.

"Okay, perfect one thing we gotta do is distract her." I said to him.
