I woke up when I realized the jet wasn't moving anymore. It was still, and the engine was quiet. I lifted my head up and looked around. The others were just starting to get up and move around, stretching and yawning.

"Ready?" Clint asked.

I looked out the window in the cockpit and saw that we'd landed in a patch of trees.

Clint led the way out of the jet, Natasha right behind him. Outside, the sun was shining, and the sky was a clear blue and cloudless. I the distance I could see a barn with a tractor in front of it. A picnic table was set up on the bright green lawn and a swing hung from a nearby tree. And there was a house. A big old farmhouse with a large wrap-around porch with a couple of rocking chairs on it.

"This is the safehouse?" Tony asked.

"Safest house I know," Clint replied, looking at Natasha.

Natasha smirked.

We walked up the steps and into the house.

"Honey?" Clint called. "I'm home. I brought company."

The boys awkwardly shuffled into the living room. I bet they would have been more comfortable if we'd stayed at the shipyard. Natasha seemed to be the only one even remotely comfortable.

There were framed pictures on the walls and on the mantel above the fireplace. I recognized Clint in some of them.

A pregnant woman walked out from the kitchen, smiling sheepishly. She scanned the face of the Avengers before walking over to Clint and kissing him.

"I know, I should have called ahead," He said.

"It's fine," She replied.

"This is an agent of some kind," Tony said.

Clint turned to us. "Team, this is Laura. My wife."

Laura smiled. "I know all of your names."

Tony, probably the most awkward of them all, waved.

"Did you just wave?" I whispered.

"What do you want me to do?" He asked.

"Act like a normal person," I replied.

"Sorry I didn't know Clint had a whole ass family five minutes ago," Tony said.

"Ope, incoming," Clint said.

A pair of kids came sprinting into the living room, a boy who looked about eight years old and a little girl who was maybe five. They launched themselves into Clints arms and I could help but smile.

"These are smaller agents," Tony said.

"You are literally the most ridiculous person I've ever met," I said.

"Did you bring Auntie Nat?" The little girl asked.

"Why don't you hug her and find out?" Natasha asked. The little girl sprinted toward Natasha, who picked her up.

"Sorry to barge in on you, ma'am," Steve said in his serious voice.

"Yeah, like he said, we would have called ahead but we were busy not knowing you existed," Tony said.

"Fury helped me set this up when I joined," Clint said. "He kept it off Shield's books. I'd like to keep it that way. I figure this'll be a good place to lay low."

The little girl walked up to me. "My name's Lila," She said.

"I'm Mavis," I said.

"Do you like playing Dolly?" She asked.
