Forget Em' or Forgive Em'?

After 3 months Macy and I were situated. My baby made two months and she was completely health. After the Michael shooting, I realized life is short.
two weeks ago I started working at the Dunkin Donuts up the street from my house. I do online schooling and take care of Macy.

"Miley, where is Macy bottle?" my mom said walking into my room where I sat on the computer doing work.

"She drank the last one so you have to make another", I said trying to stay focused.

"Ok, and you have an hour until you have to be at counseling, so get ready", she said walking out holding Macy.

I go to counseling twice a week with Macy to talk about life as a teenage mom.

"Hello", I said answering the phone.

"Hey Miles", Michael's mom said into the phone.

"Hey, wassup?" I said confused by her phone call.

"We were going to Wisconsin Dells as a family trip this weekend and want you and Macy to come", she said.

"Who is we", I said getting a little agitated.

No, Michael wasn't dead. After being shot in the chest, he had to stay in the hospital for three weeks. Then he went back to being the same asshole. Yet this time he was an asshole to Macy and me.

"The family", she said.

I could tell she really wanted me and Macy to come.

"I'll see", I replied.

"I hope y'all come, it'll be fun!" She said just before I hung the phone up.

"Mommy!" I yelled to get my moms attention.

"Yeah", she said rushing into my bedroom.

"Michael's mom just called me", I said with every bit of hate in my voice.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Michael's mom... I just hated Michael. I felt it was best if Macy and I stayed away from him. But Michael's mom loves Macy so much and she wants to be in her life, so I allow that.
Michael was just there basically.

"What did she say?" My mom asked having a seat on the edge of my bed.

"She wants me and Macy the go to Wisconsin with them", I answered.

"Who?" My mom said laughing.

I quoted her, "the family", I said.

"Girl boo! Do you want to go?" My mom asked.

As much as my mom wanted Michael's family in Macy's life she disliked the way Michael was to and Macy. There was no excuse of not being a father to this baby. The excuse of him being too young didn't cut it. He wasn't "too young" to lay up in the bed and have sex unprotected.

"Kind of, but I don't want to see him", I said.

"Then go", she said getting up and leaving.

****** FLASH BACK TO WHEN MICHAEL GOT OUT OF THE HOSPITAL *******

"Can you hold Macy while I go to the bathroom", I asked trying to hand her over to Michael.

"No, don't baby her, set her down on the bed and go to the bathroom", he said back.

"It's a girl Michael, not a boy.. It's a baby.. Act like it!" I said still trying to hand her to him.

"I'm not holding her so take her to my mom", he said shoving my arms away.
