Chapter 3 Calm before the Storm

  Next day after the frog hunt, Kazuma, Megumin and Kagura are siting together and eating. Kazuma then pulls out his adventure card and looks through it.

"You can learn skills with the points you've saved up, huh? I'll have to be careful not to use them up on any weird skills."

Megumin stopped eating and looked at Kazuma. 

"First you get someone to teach you how to use a skill. Then the entry will appear on your card. If you use your points on that entry, you'll finish learning it."  

Kazuma scratched his chin and turned towards Megumin.

"Does that mean if I have you teach me, I could learn explosion magic?"

"Exactly!"

Megumin got closer to Kazuma with a wide smiled. Kagura watched them while munching on his food.

"That's exactly right, Kazuma! If you want to learn explosion magic, I'll teach you as much as you want! There is no better skill to learn! Come one! Follow me in the ways of Explosion!"

This time she got to close and Kazuma placed hand on her shoulder while pushing her back.

"Hey, calm...calm down, little girl! And I have only three points right now..."

He stopped talking when he saw how destroyed Megumin looked. Her eyes became blank and she quietly went back to her food.

"Little girl..."

Suddenly Kazuma was smacked by Kagura with such force that his head hit the counter.

"Ow!"

"You never say things like to any woman...Especially if they have abilities more powerful then yours..." 

Kazuma glared at Kagura before something came to his head.

"Hey! Can't you learn me that fire spell you sued yesterday? Or at least swordsmanship?" 

Kagura looked at Kazuma and placed his fork down.

"Your three points won't be enough. I use high tier swordsman ship and spells that adventurer like you can't learn. And besides I don't teach anyone..."

"But-!"

Kazuma was stopped as he saw two golden orbs glare at him from the shadowed face.

"I said no..."

Kazuma gulped and nodded slowly before he turned back to his food. 

"I'be been looking for you."

Kazuma turned around just for his eyes to widen.

"It's her!"

He whispered making Kagura look at him and then at the blonde woman.

"You said you had too much drinks yesterday and headed straight home...

She said before sitting down next to Kagura.

"N-No need to worry!"

He smiled at her wryly and laughed.

"Shall we continue where our conversation left off yesterday? Please let me join your party-"

"I refuse."

Kazuma said quickly but was taken back by her reaction, she blushed and moaned. Kagura blinked few times before looking at her.

"Such a snap decision!" 

Before anything more could happen a laugh was heard and a sliver haired thief walked up to them.

"That won't do, Darkness. You can't be so pushy."
