Konosuba: The God of Fire

Chapter 6 Dullahan

 Man was seen running through the forest, his breath rapid. He was running to deliver a message to someone. But he never though that he would be doing this. Month ago he was a simple thug that was walking around and taking money from people, but now? He was put to work by that monster of a man. After few minutes of run he finally arrives at his goal. He runs into the clearing and see the man he has to deliver the message too.

"Boss! He left his castle! He lef-!"

"Shut up! I know..."

 Thug stopped and looked. Many bones were scattered around his boss, it was enough to construct 30 of them back. Boss hid his sword back into his sheet and turned around to glare at the thug.  Thug began to sweat and he lowered his head. Boss walked up to him and cursed.

"I told you to be quick with messages!" 

 Kagura sighed as he looked at one of the thugs he recruited to be his scouts. He was the one who wanted to take money from Aqua. But why Kogane wanted scouts to run around this forest? Well, the castle nearby has new resident in it. It's one of the Demon King's Generals, Beldia. For some now, castle day by day was hit whit explosion magic. Kagura only knew one under of that kind of magic in the town but prayed it wasn't her. If it is her then whole group is in danger and the only person who has the biggest chances of survival has only Aqua. 

 Kagura turned around and walked further to his horse that was hidden under a tree. He glanced towards the thug who shook under his gaze.

"Where did he went?"

Thug looked up at Kagura and pointed towards the town.

"He is going towards Axel!"

Kagura's eyes widen and turned back forward.

'He finally moved. I need to get to Axel before he kills anyone!'

"Did he had anyone else with him?!"

"No! He was alone!"

Kagura nodded before he started to ride towards the Axel. His predictions were probably correct and he wanted to get there as quick as he can. He knew Beldia, and he knew that they don't have chance with him in open combat. Beldia is an excellent swordsman that also has broken abilities. His horse feeling the worry and anger in Kagura began to gallop even faster. Until they finally appered at the field of Axel. 

 Kagura saw the group of adventurers that stood in front of the town. He also saw Beldia and Megumin with Aqua with her. Kagura's eyes widen.

'This idiots!'

Beldia began to gather magic in his palm, he then pointed his hand at Megumin. It was a powerful curse that will kill the person it's put on it, the only way to survive is for the person who cast it to take it away. He pointed with his finger at Megumin.

"I sentence you to deat-!"

"Oi, Beldia..."

In second magic in Beldia's hand was put off as he quickly looked to the side. Together with him everyone looked tot he source of the voice to see Kagura on his horse. He was glaring at Beldia, his eyes glowing and his aura flaring up.

"The Avatar of Ashura....Or should I say Kagura?"

Beldia's hand unconsciously went to the handle of his sword as he looked at Kagura. Kagura's own hand also did the same as he slowly ride up to Megumin and Aqua. When he was next to them he looked down at them.

"Go back to the crowd. Now..."

Megumin began to sweat slightly while Aqua glared at Kagura.

"But, we can kill him here!"

Then she saw something that she saw long ago, Kagura glared at her so much that golden aura was pouring off from his eyes. 

"Go..."

Aqua nodded and took Megumin with her before running back to he crowd. Kagura then looked back at Beldia and raised an eyebrow.

"You could attack me twice now. Why not do it?"

Beldia chuckled slowly.

"I was an knight before I became what I am and I still have mine honor intact. I won't destroy it by putting a sword in your back."

Kagura nodded before jumping down from the horse, who took few steps back. He then cracked his neck and pulled his hood down. He looked at Beldia with a grin, his aura was flaring up and gold mist was pouring from his eyes. 

"So...you want to fight?"

Beldia looked down at him before shaking his head.

"No...Not really..."

"Oh..."

Smile from Kagura's face disappeared and he scratched his head. 

"So...why did you come here?"

Beldia sighed and turned around.

"They will tell you...But remember one thing, If they won't stop using the explosion magic on mine castle, I will come here and kill them!"

He pointed at Megumin before leaving. Kagura watched him leave before placing hand on his face and shacking his head.

'So it really was her...'

Crowd of adventurers began to cheer and shout Kagura's name. They though of him as their savior, thanks to him the demon king general didn't kill any of them. Megumin and rest of the group cheered too and run up to him. But before anyone could say anything, Kagura took a hold of Megumin. His hand gripped her head hard.

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Mine head will explode!"

Kagura glared at her with an irk mark on his forehead.

"Because of you, people almost get killed! But it wasn't only you! Someone had to help you."

Kagura looked around the crowd of adventurers and tried to guess which one of them could help get back to the city until he saw Kazuma that was trying to sneak out.

"Ah, I see! Kazuma!"

Kazuma shook when he heard his own name and began to run towards the city. Kagura screamed his name again and began to follow him in order to catch him.

"YOU FUCKING MORON!"
