"Are you ready for the weekend, George?" Susie asks while they are having breakfast. George nods as he swallows bite of toast. "I am," he says, "I always get excited." Toto who listens along, crosses his arms over his chest and rises his eyebrow. "Excited?" Toto's tone emphasised excited, but his expression meant something else. Susie kicks her husband softly against his tibia. Toto's eyes left the poor boy to look at his wife, who's glaring at him. "Excited for the race of course," George explains, obviously embarrassed. Artemis sits next to him, laying his hand on his knee. George glances aside to see a faint smile on her face.
"Why don't you guys make yourself ready, I'll clean this up," Susie says. George and Artemis nod and stand up. "It was delicious once again, Mrs Wolff," George compliments. "It's Susie for you, George," she says with a smile, "and you are more than welcome." George and Artemis disappear upstairs and Toto sits at the table with a small smirk on his table.
"Don't tease that boy so much, Toto!" Susie says, causing Toto to let out a small laugh. "That's what a father does to a boyfriend, right?" he asks, shrugging. Susie expression goes over in shock. "George told me they are not together," she gasps. Toto scoffs as he laughs. He grabs the newspaper before he says, "they aren't. But have you seen George looking at our daughter? That's the exact same look I had towards you. That boy is head over heels."
"So, have you been setting this all up?" Susie asks, stalking closer to her husband. Toto scrunched his nose as he shrugged. "It wasn't on purpose ... Okay maybe a little," he adds as Susie raises an eyebrow, "I wish our daughter happiness as well okay? Because I think she likes him as well." Susie puts her arms around his neck as she places a kiss on his hair. "Just don't get too involved okay? Let them be and see what happens." "I will mein liebe."
