Dear Mika,
So happy to hear that you're doing well. However, maybe you wouldn't be feeling so behind if you actually tried during your training? You've always slacked off though. You remember that time when Mama was making a fuss over how you never left the house? And you replied with, "if my friends really wanted to see me, they could come down over here." You were around 14 at the time. Looking back on it, that was an excellent show of teenage angst. If you're wondering at all, I've been doing well, most of the work I do nowadays isn't even doctoring! I'm practically a glorified teacher at this point. You wouldn't believe how many medics are calling for me in a day! It's unbelievable! And it's always for the easiest things; we haven't had any injured soldiers come by in a while so we're organizing our supplies. I've had everything labeled so that I wouldn't have to run around all the time and direct people on what goes where. Seems that little plan backfired as all I ever hear is: " do these bandages go in the box labeled 'bandages'?" It's utterly ridiculous. I'm beginning to gain sympathy for Mama when I called on her for simple things that I could do if only I thought a little harder.
Your turn to share a story about your going's ons,
Rocco
