It had been a month since George's first day. Dream's friends had now become his friends as well, real friends.
He had gotten used to the school and where everything was, and knew everyones names. He hadn't talked to many people apart from Dream, Sapnap and Wilbur. He wanted to though, he was just too awkward to start any kind of conversation.
The mornings would always go the same: wake up, watch his mother walk out the door to her new job-hardly acknowledging his existence apart from when she needed a chore doing-, have breakfast, meet Dream outside, and walk to the bus.
At school, everyone seemed to know his name. Although he never talked to them, he had an uncomfortable feeling that they were talking ABOUT him though...Dream always assured him they weren't.
"What you go first Georgie?" Dream asked as they stepped off the bus, making their way into the busy school grounds.
"Uh...art. You?"
"I haven't actually got any classes today, neither has Sapnap, the big football game is coming up and coach wants us to practice all day and be ready! He spoke with the Principle and he agreed."
"Thats cool, so you won't be in any of the classes today?" George thought about all the classes he sat next to Dream, he would be lonely if he weren't there.
"Yeah, sorry man. I'm sure you'll be OK without me though, its been a month now! Wilbur is in some of your classes, and you can always talk to more people," Dream put a hand on George shoulder assuringly.
"I guess..."
"Come on now, don't be like that! Make some new friends, you're a likeable person George, it shouldn't be that hard."
"Says Mr. Popular," the brunette rolled his eyes comically.
"Yeah yeah, OK I've gotta go now, see you after school!" The blonde started to walk away towards the field.
"W-wait! After school? What about lunch?"
Dream stopped and turned to George again "Oh yeah, sorry we won't be eating in the lunch hall today- football stuff. Wilbur will still be there remember? Got to run now, bye!"
"O-OK! Have a good day!"
"You too!"
And with that Dream half ran to catch up with Sapnap, both walking towards the field with their PE bags.
The bell shrilly wined, alerting George to hurry up.

George walked into art class, without his usual companion.
Wilbur wasn't in this class, in fact, now Sapnap and Dream were also gone, he had no one to talk to.
Sitting down on one of the colourful stool in the half class room half art studio, the teacher started the lesson.
"You will need to be in groups of four for this project guys! So buddy up in teams now please, be quick I don't want any chaos!"
George stomach sank. This is the worst situation to be in, especially when your only friend isn't here.
He watched as the giggling students stumbled into fours, negotiating with their friends who is going in what group.
George didn't know what to do, he just sat their awkwardly waiting for someone to tell him what to do. Most likely he would be put in a group of the teachers deciding, oh god what if they didn't want him there? He was going to just be on the sideline watching as they had fun probably...oh no what if-
